We are long overdue for a magnitude 9.0 - 9.7 Earthquake. Mother Nature will provide us with another one in 2013. Her cleansing transformation continues after billions of years.


9.0 - 9.7 Earthquake this year? But Where and what time this year?


Well I would have to say that the epicenter would most likely be located in close proximity to Japan or California, or quite possibly even New Zealand, with a depth of 10-20km. I would also expect a possible mega-tsunami to be generated from the event, depending upon the type of earthquake and location.

As for the time this year I would probably lean towards the more immediate future at this stage, lets say 20 weeks.

As for human casualties, they are inevitable with a quake of this severity. Human casualties could range anywhere from less than one hundred to many millions.
