i was watching the local news tonight and they said that there is a world wide shortage of helium......makes me wonder why? What is it used for other than raves or balloons. The talking heads said that the government gets priority before small shops get it. Appaarently it's been going on a few months. Is it true? Why?
Quoting: DIZZEE 19533963 FOUND THIS Helium is used in cryogenics (its largest single use, absorbing about a quarter of production), particularly in the cooling of superconducting magnets, with the main commercial application being in MRI scanners
