Re: Anyone ever try mirror scrying?
I used to stare into a plasma globe in the dark and I would begin to see faces and places inside the globe.

Once I saw a different room, reflected in the globe as if it were my own room however this room was from around the turn of the 19th century on the other side. I saw two people sitting in the room that didn't appear to notice me. However, after I stared at them for a few moments, they clearly became aware of my presence and when they turned to look at me, and our eyes met, the vision ended.

Fascinating! What a picture you paint, in only one paragraph!

Wondrous.

The worst thing I could think of happening would be to look in the mirror and see Piers Morgon.. That really would suck!!! Tension breaker, had to be done..

Re: Anyone ever try mirror scrying?
I have a few mirrors that have been passed along to me from deceased loved ones that I have lost myself in on an occasion. It has been at day and night, sometimes under the influence of beer, marijuana or mushrooms, but not always. I had one experience where I was deep into meditation and drawn to the mirror. My face transformed and I began to speak at myself as if I was reassuring and encouraging myself, telling me it was all going to be ok. A few times I have felt the presence of the ones who have passed that once owned the mirrors, however I have never been certain that it was my grandmother or margaret. My reflection almost always transforms into a crone like figure, and I have always felt slightly hesitant about completely releasing myself to the experience, but I have always been reassured and sent loving emotions from that other side that I don't really know what it is... but each experience has been trance like, with one foot in reality and the other through the looking glass.

Re: Anyone ever try mirror scrying?
The whole world seems a mirror to me sometimes.

the apophenia effect seems a valid explination
for the state, once one gets into emotional distress by overdoing it but i stop short of calling every one who can see the tapestry of life mentaly ill .

Objectively speaking, staring at your face in the mirror often reveals your asymetrical halves that in itself can lead to a short identity crisis when you see two distinct persons cohabitating the same body. Also in my experience mirrors can suck you thru and spit you out simultaniously delivering you to a parralel but semingly identical place while astral traveling.perception lol you got to love it.
It boils down to interpretation but dosent everything .

I tried it once and it made my eyes want to cross. After a couple of minutes it looked like one of my eyes disappeared and then that side of my face began looked black or like it was gone. I kinda felt trance like and then just kinda snapped out of it. I felt really sleep afterwards.

Re: Anyone ever try mirror scrying?
Scrying is usually done with Tarot Card.
The impressions can be minimal and come in any form.
Just whatever you experience follow along with it, let it flow. Pick a card for a specific purpose or at random.

Methods using mirrors, bowls/steel pots of water and crystal balls are usually more about divination in general.

Best Wishes
