The thing is... I'm not sure if the OP was trolling by calling Australians Austrian or is genuinely that retarded.
That actually happened once, officially. Julia gillard went to some conference somewhere and they had this thing with models of all the heads of countries on it, dressed in national costume. They had dressed up Julia in Austrian gear - all liederhosen and braces and shit.
