Trees and Human Health May Be Linked

Yes is is simply the fact that trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide.

In neighbors where the trees have been infested by this emerald ash borer and the trees die that there is also lack of clean oxygen which we really need for health's sake otherwise humans would not be having respiratory and heart problems in those areas.

New research by scientists at the University of Southampton
has shown how London's trees can improve air quality by

filtering out pollution particulates, which are damaging to human health.

Haven't trees always done that through the day then the reverse at night...

Ahh awesome information! There are some significant links to health and the natural environment (and vice versa as seen after some interesting studies!) Ill see if I can find some of them :)

When my mum came to visit the xmas before last she always loves tinkering in the garden...

I have a lemon an and lime tree in pots but they just never fruit.

Well, mum watered them and talked to them (I watched her through the window lean into each one as she spoke).

Well wouldn't you know it...they doubled their size in a matter of weeks.

Every living thing is linked. And we all help or harm each other one way or another. Trees and Humans. That is not amazing though.

I wonder if Ash Beetle shit is bad for you?

Interesting story that happened a couple years ago. I work in Cleveland and there was a old church by the Cleveland Clinic that had a 200 year old tree behind it. It was absolutely gorgeous and I loved looking at it every day. It was probably planted when the church was constructed. So one day the church decided to cut it down. I was beyond pissed. So I don't know if it was my rage at them cutting down the tree or the tree and the church were linked but 1 month later the 200 year old church was hit with a bolt of lightening and burned to the ground. I couldn't breathe at work for two days due to the smoke but I felt vindicated.

I use tea tree oil for any cuts on the body...or for that matter any type of skin problem. It is a really fast healer. It comes directly from the tea tree in Australia...pure tea tree oil.

Symbiotic relation amongst Human and/or all living things and Trees, I can dig it! I felt this growing up in a National Forest Regional Area. I recall the beetle scare then forest deaths cause by said scary beetle infestations.

Strange may be the Africanized Killer Bees, commonly known just as "killer bees back then," also were unleashing havoc in other regional areas moving from South to North too.

Very interesting. I'm interested in knowing also about living close to an ocean bc most all plant life is there? Plus living so close to an ocean myself. I used to have trees that went up and curled around my cathedral ceilings in my house pre baby.

There is a way to be totally free, no matter whats going on around you. The power of love is much stronger than any of the negative energies. If you have a good enough ''shield'' nothing can touch you.

Now on topic...

I once saw a video of a guy testing the effect of music on plants.

On the first try he played heavy metal for x amount of time, and on the second try he played calm classical music for x amount of time. I know i have it somewhere on my computer, but i cant find it at the moment.

Anyways, the noisy music made the plants bend away, and the calm music attracted the plants toward the speakers.

Plants reacts to music/sound/vibration/frequencys and so do we, but the human ear cannot hear them although we very much react to it.

A forrest is FULL of healing music which you cannot hear =)

Denotes a healthier environment yes but also gives the color green which is therapeutic. I've gone been convinced it has much to do with the popularity of game of golf even though I personally don't play it.
