Belgian Woman Follows GPS for 60 hrs Instead of 1 hr....
Two days on Europe’s roads
Hard to imagine but the Belgian lady did not realize she was on the wrong direction. However she found out the mistake only when arriving in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Moreau took the same road back to Belgium. She arrived two days later, on a Monday

I call brain function cease...LOL

This is not the first time this has happened and we have to remember many eldery are new to modern technology therefore would, IMO, tend to rely on it regardless..

Ban GPS devices, think of how many children could have gotten hurt!
"I have felt despair many times in my life, but I do not keep a chair for it."
~Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes

Today is a gift, that is why it is called "The Present"

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.”
- Adolf Hitler

“If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.”

Reminds me of an apprentice in my graduating class.

At the home office one day he asked a journeyman ... "Where do I pick up my paycheck?"

The journeyman replied ... " Go straight down here and take your first right then it will be your second left."

Instead of waking down the hallway and following the journeyman's directions, the apprentice got in his van and proceeded to drive to what turned out to be a Dunkin Donuts. chuckle

Is it true that belgians are stereotypically bad drivers?

I've heard they did'nt have liscensing restrictions for years. Buy a car, drive it, no gov. intrusion, I like it.

no. driving classes are mandatory; always have been. in the fifties and sixties, it was a mere formality, but ever since then it is quite strict (they outsourced it decades ago, so the companies doing training and exams benefit from failing people).
