It would have to be a very good reason. I only had my seals broken once by the PA State police on I-81. They did a full inspection, and the trailer was bulging from the sides near the bottom. Probably from forklifts bashing into the sides, but he made me break the seal. He took me off the road, and I got a few tickets, and the company got a few tickets, and I still have the seal he resealed the load with: "PA STATE POLICE 5923" I saved it because the ticket cost me $500 (logbook violations) |
