Newtown Superintendent Talks to Congress, Adds to Confusion
Newtown School Superintendent Janet Robinson hammers home the message of banning semi-auto "assault" weapons and large capacity magazines, while reading from a fourth grader's letter to Nancy Pelosi.
[link to www.courant.com]

But according to this NBC report, only handguns were found in the school:

Robinson evidently gets confused about the hiding place of Ms. Soto's students.

"The shooter bypassed [the] first-grade classroom on the left and began shooting in the second first-grade classroom, killing the school's permanent substitute teacher, Lauren Rousseau, and all but one child who was clever enough to play dead and didn't even whimper.

"By this time, the teacher in the third room had crammed as many children as possible in the bathroom, was trying to find hiding places for the others when the [shooter] took aim on her and her students. Vicki Soto, who was so excited to finally reach her dream to be a teacher, threw herself in front of her students. Such incredible bravery from a young, first-grade teacher
."

Also of note, she says first responders were on scene in "three minutes".

Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

These "witnesses" need to shut up. They are going to blow the whole MSM story if they keep talking.

They should at least huddle up and call a play

I have video on yesterdays New York debate on the assault weapons ban.

The bill sponsor himself said, in regards to Newtown school shooting that "4 weapons that the shooter had on him and the assault rifle that was in the car"

HE SAID THAT, I WILL GET IT ONLINE SOON ENOUGH.

How can the creator of an assault rifle ban believe that the assault rifle found in the connecticut shooting was found in the car..problably because it WAS!

This whole time sucks ass and I just want to fast forward

I still don't buy that a 6 year old is going to have the mind to "play dead." Maybe they were scared silent, but I don't believe for a second that a child uttered the words, "I played dead."

Not that I believe the Sandy Hoax story one bit, but I can believe that a child could do just that. I can remember how my son was a couple of years ago and this is why I say that:

Shock - I can understand how a kid in that scenario might have gone into shock, shutting down and just lying there until someone rescued them.

and / or

Learned Response: (Monkey See Monkey Do): Television / movies. A kid at 6 could have seen a cartoon with someone playing opossum in a shoot out scenario. Combined with the sheer shock of the situation and I can believe a 6 or 7 year old could pull it off.

Why would it matter if they played dead if he was the only shooter he would know who he killed.

About that three minute response time:

Check out this article from the Danbury News-Times that refernces the police scanner recording:
[link to www.newstimes.com]

"Bursts of gunfire were heard coming from Sandy Hook Elementary School over an 11-minute period, starting around 9:35 a.m. Friday, according to a review of the call. The details of what happened inside the building during that window are still being sorted out by investigators."

"...Around 10 a.m., first responders discovered the extent of the carnage inside Sandy Hook Elementary School"

What time was the first 9/11 call received?

It's clearly stated in the police scanner recording when the officer found the suspect that there was 2 handguns, an ar15, and a shotgun. This was a cop! They know their firearms! So now the ar and shotgun are handguns. Wtf? Absolute bullshit!

Listen you Newtown tards, after such a chaotic and horrifying event, witnesses can be confused and mistaken. Police officers and reporters can misspeak, or be given incorrect information.

Not every single statement about what occurred, from dozens of different people in different places at different times, will agree in every detail.

Three different witnesses to a minor car accident will often give three slightly different accounts of what they saw, so it's unrealistic to expect dozens of people who were involved in a chaotic school massacre to report exactly the same things.

This whole situation is one of the most bizarre phenomena that I've ever read about. There's just so much that makes no sense. I can't make heads or tails of what happened there. The media is doing a ridiculous job investigating. What in tarnation is going on?

These aren't minor, insignificant details that have been inconsistent throughout this whole thing (though there are tons of those).

We're talking about MAJOR points of simple fact that no amount of stress or duress is going to alter...that are not going to differ merely due to different people's perspectives...and they go far beyond the occasional misspoken word or phrase.

The accounts don't differ 'slightly', and the number of plain facts that were reported COMPLETELY INCORRECTLY are too numerous to be honest, hurried mistakes.

What we have here is a major cover-up operation that's been botched at every step. It's been so thoroughly messed up that I'm starting to think it's intentional...that whoever is responsible for whatever happened (and we don't even know what happened!) wants to make it obvious that the whole story reeks.

volunteer paramedics and firemen reacted quicker to this than the US Air Force did to 9/11?

I was barely 6, not in school yet because we didn't have kindergarten, and we had just gotten our first tv. Small country town.
I had a bad feeling, and whined to go with my dad to work for a few hours on a Saturday, as I told my mother "to save Daddy's life."
A man with a shotgun came in a couple of hours after we got there, held us hostage at the end of a shotgun barrel for hours.

I knew where a phone was out of the room. So, I pretended I had to pee, snuck down the hallway, called the operator, told her the situation and that the sheriff needed to turn off the headlights, and come in along the far side of the hallway while I kept the perp distracted.
And, that's how it went down. No one hurt.
I was the town hero at 6 years old.

Maybe it's because I'm a little older now, or that I'm a dad now, but I find everyone's new favorite conspiracy theory totally ugly, childish, and offensive. I've enjoyed, and even supported much of the conspiracy theory culture in the past, but this has kind of ruined it all for me. To treat this as a conspiracy theory is totally irresponsible.

There was a video of the cops searching the car trunk, and taking a rifle out. It looked like it had wood trim, and they cocked it like a shotgun.

Why can no-one answer this???

Why hasn't anyone figured out who was really interviewed by the NEWTOWN BEE if it wasn't the principal as originally reported.

If it wasn't DAWN HOCHSPRUNG who was interviewed with those details about the shooting, then why the complete retraction of the story and not just a correction as to who the actual interviewee was?

Seems real strange that the whole story was pulled and no new explanations have been given since!wtf

I mean I get it. It fills a certain void to view the whole thing from the conspiracy angle, but this one more than any conspiracy theory has a shelf life of about a week before you have to face reality here. Sorry, but you are in fact the idiot here.
