I mean I get it. It fills a certain void to view the whole thing from the conspiracy angle, but this one more than any conspiracy theory has a shelf life of about a week before you have to face reality here. Sorry, but you are in fact the idiot here.

So, apparently you can answer above question, one of the first and most glaring inconsistencies in the whole media story?

How do you get an eyewitness account from a dead person and then- NEVER MIND...

This media coverage was horrible for very good reasons, and you really think relaying a heroic death to the public out of respect to the victim is completely out of the question? What do you expect from the media, forensic science?

Since you don't have many facts of the incident, it makes no sense to debate this with you. But I will arm you with a few facts just in case someone else here has info that may be worthwhile.

The NEWTOWN BEE, the local paper in the school's area, printed an article containing an interview with Principal Dawn Hochsprung giving details of the assailant and the number of shots fired.

[link to imageshack.us]

Then the article was removed from the site and since then there has been no retraction or correction made as to who was actually interviewed mistakenly or what the exact mix up was.

Please stop using the emotional angle as a way to get people to not ask any more questions regarding these many strange inconsistencies in the official story. It makes you seem like a shill.

If your emotions are so out of control that your brain does not operate at peak efficiency, then please don't enter the debate.

Thank you.

Question:

They said a hundred shots were fired. One person 4 handguns-how can 100 shots be fired? How long would it take to do that by one person?

We should all write to the Newtown Bee and ask for an answer to precisely that question. Who was it that took this interview and as it obviously wasn't the principal, would they please find out who it was that was interviewed.

"Don't enter the debate! I want to believe all this bull shit!"

It doesn't mean anything other than human error in the midst of what is easily the most vile tragedy a small community could ever experience.

If you've ever lived in a small town that has a newspaper or a community website, than you know they are about as efficient as your grandma's computer skills. You can't expect New York Times editorial benchmarks from the Newtown Bee.

It's all very offensive what you guys are doing. To the point of comedy actually, so that makes it a little easier to bear.

I did see where someone posted that the paper said, "someone claiming to be the Principal" gave the interview.

But I guess that's not strange either?

In small towns where there has been a vile tragedy lots of people claim to be major eye witnesses!

Re: Newtown Superintendent Talks to Congress, Adds to Confusion
This is from the Newtown Bee Special Edition dated December 17.

Teams of police officers expedited the evacuation
of students holding on to each other —
many with their eyes closed — and school
staffers from the building, getting them to the
safety of the nearby Sandy Hook Firehouse on
Riverside Road.
Police then searched the school for the shooter,
according to Lieutenant J. Paul Vance, state
police spokesman.

This can't be right. I wouldn't think they evacuated the school before finding the shooter.

The person who did the interview was Shannon Hicks, the same person said to have taken the famous lone photo of kids evacuating.

One thing that REALLY bothers me is the fact that Adam was autistic. (I have a bright autistic child) they HATE HATE loud noise and we have Adam firing around like a lunatic, people screaming.
Also, living with an autistic child who really doesn't talk, I found the whole conversation that Adam had in the classroom (WHere are the children??!, etc) COMPLETELY off base. If you remember in the stories about Adam, most people claimed he NEVER spoke. This is not the same as some bullied kids (like Columbine) who sit around and decided they want their power back and go in to a school screaming and shooting. An autistic kid CAN NOT wish himself more aggressive/verbal.
Think of it this way, remember Rain Man and his ability to communicate? What if Dustin Hoffman's character decided to shoot up kids. Can you imagine him shooting kids. noise, screams, etc??? Can you imagine him screaming WHere are the children??!

See? No f'in way.

I still don't buy that a 6 year old is going to have the mind to "play dead." Maybe they were scared silent, but I don't believe for a second that a child uttered the words, "I played dead."
 Quoting: JustCinnamon

I was barely 6, not in school yet because we didn't have kindergarten, and we had just gotten our first tv. Small country town.
I had a bad feeling, and whined to go with my dad to work for a few hours on a Saturday, as I told my mother "to save Daddy's life."
A man with a shotgun came in a couple of hours after we got there, held us hostage at the end of a shotgun barrel for hours.

I knew where a phone was out of the room. So, I pretended I had to pee, snuck down the hallway, called the operator, told her the situation and that the sheriff needed to turn off the headlights, and come in along the far side of the hallway while I kept the perp distracted.
And, that's how it went down. No one hurt.
I was the town hero at 6 years old.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29184782

As I have repeatedly said, I'm not doubting that a child could play dead. I'm doubting they used the phrase. It's an opinion.

It does, this, imo, was the first crucial mistake, they picked the wrong kid.
I am not saying an autistic/asperger child can't commit violent crimes they can...though typically they are victims of crimes and follow the law extremely so.

The DIFFERENCES in the WAY the crime would be committed would be GLARING.

Again, autistic children rationalize, communicate, act out completely differently. Adam would have had to awoken a completely different person to have committed this crime, from killing him mom, smashing his computer, having his brother's id on him, driving to school, shooting the door in??? (really, chances are this painfully shy socially insecure kid would have tried the doors and then when they didn't open, simply go home.),shoot up people, ASK series of questions DEMANDING to know where the "kids" are. He got his hair cut his whole life and NEVER looked at his hair dresser or uttered a single word, now he is John Wayne? Then was able to understand that police were closing in on him and killed himself?

This story went down like some deranged adult, but it makes NO sense for a shy, skinny, non verbal autistic and that's disregarding everything else out there that contradicts their story.
I WILL take this to my grave.

This is not a regular kid who has been stiffled and is now freeing himself. An autistic kid CAN NOT lose inhibition, they are WIRED that way.

A long time I would think. Recently did some shooting and there were five of us. We probably shot around 100 rounds in 20 to 30 minutes. Not each, total.

Excellent points. When I worked at a university, there was a student that I often interacted with. He had Asbergers. He took things very, very literally, would never break a rule knowingly and often came to my office for clarification of minor things, such as addressing a professor as Dr. or Professor, what the difference was, which was correct, etc.,. His days were planned out in advance, and as far as I know he did nothing spontaneously. Obviously not all autistic people are the same, but they do tend to follow very similar patterns of behavior.
