Why can no-one answer this???
Why hasn't anyone figured out who was really interviewed by the NEWTOWN BEE if it wasn't the principal as originally reported. If it wasn't DAWN HOCHSPRUNG who was interviewed with those details about the shooting, then why the complete retraction of the story and not just a correction as to who the actual interviewee was? Seems real strange that the whole story was pulled and no new explanations have been given since!  Quoting: ru1im2 Yes, that is a very important identity to establish, particularly in light of Lt. Vance's strong words about federal prosecution for anyone posing with a fraudulent identity, and/or repeating false information about the case. Did someone purposely and fraudulently represent herself as Dawn Hochsprung to the Newtown Bee? Did the Newtown Bee reporter know Dawn Hochsprung well enough to recognize her by sight? If not, how was identity established, and most importantly, how was the wrong identity established? If this person was not Dawn Hochsprung, who was she, and why did she give details about the shooting? Why did the Newtown Bee not explain such a disturbing error, particularly in light of the local public's need for peace of mind in those early days?
