He'd lend you the money, as long as you carve an inverted cross into the Bible and burn the whole text after you're done reading it.

I've never really understood that stipulation, but whatever.

Thread: Who REALLY runs the show? (Page 3)
Bottom of page 3 and onto page 4 has several videos on this subject.

I also recommend checking out the Walter Veith Total Onslaught Mini Series (251-260) which covers an array of subjects but gets into the papacy and it's role as Antichrist/NWO very in depth with cold hard facts

Can be found on youtube.

Jesus Christ is the only way, and is the Truth, the light. It's true. I've experienced miracles firsthand and had my life transformed. But it's about a personal relationship with him, not religion.

Because God is a holy and righteous God, and because he loves his creation, he has certain characteristics. First of all we have ALL fallen short of the glory of God as he is perfect and exists eternally. This goes all the way back to the beginning of creation, when man existed in harmony in God's presence, and chose to disobey God's admonishment to live a life that resulted in peace/love/harmony. God's way is the only way that produces peace and love, and the history of man is a testimony of this with all of his wars and destruction of the planet etc. If you've looked at a man/woman and lusted you've committed adultery, if you've ever felt contempt towards someone you've had the spirit of murder, if you've stolen even a penny, to a paperclip, if you've ever been jealous, if you've ever coveted money, video games, anything for that matter above God, if you've had pride and excessive love and admiration of self, you've fallen short of the glory of God's righteousness and sinned. (obviously we all have)

Because God is just, when we stand before him, he must judge us accordingly, he couldn't be just and at the same time let us get away with our sins, it'd be like, for example, standing in front of a judge on charges of rape and being like "yeah I did rape that woman, but, but usually I hold doors open for women, and now days I wouldn't do something like that, and I want to help women out, etc." As a just Judge, he would have to sentence us based on the rape crime, or he would lose his job, and criminals could just do whatever they want.

So basically we have two options, either we pay for our sins with our eternal destruction, or we accept the free offering of his son Jesus Christ, who payed for our sins. (basically because we are so full of sin, its analogous to our bodies being a full cup, the sin being the contents thereof, and the only way to remove contents (sin), is to pour them into an empty cup, hence Jesus Christ had no sin. This is because God cannot accept man's perverted ways into his kingdom. God is actually EXTREMELY loving, that he has offered mankind a free gift of salvation though none of us deserve it.

Knowing God is not a personal secret within, it is
the invitation to share his wisdom with others, for instance;

"Who is wise and understanding among YOU? Let him show out of his fine conduct his works with a mildness that belongs to wisdom. 14 But if YOU have bitter jealousy and contentiousness in YOUR hearts, do not be bragging and lying against the truth. 15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is [the] earthly, animal, demonic. 16 For where jealousy and contentiousness are, there disorder and every vile thing are.
17 But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical. 18 Moreover, the fruit of righteousness has its seed sown under peaceful conditions for those who are making peace.
4 From what source are there wars and from what source are there fights among YOU? Are they not from this source, namely, from YOUR cravings for sensual pleasure that carry on a conflict in YOUR members? 2 YOU desire, and yet YOU do not have. YOU go on murdering and coveting, and yet YOU are not able to obtain. YOU go on fighting and waging war. YOU do not have because of YOUR not asking. 3 YOU do ask, and yet YOU do not receive, because YOU are asking for a wrong purpose, that YOU may expend [it] upon YOUR cravings for sensual pleasure." Re: if you asked the pope for a few bucks to buy a bible,..... would he lend it??
Please, if you are going to spread rumors about the Catholic Church - do your homework. To say that the Catholic Church doesn't believe in the bible is absurd. Where do you think the bible came from? Look it up.

And while you're at it, take a peek at the Catechism of the Catholic church - what it REALLY teaches and believes, and not what some shills want you to believe. You just might find that there is NOTHING at all in there that conflicts with the Word of God.

The truth is that the Catholic Church is the original church established by Christ 2000 years ago, and has endured despite its many, many problems, heresies, dysfunction, etc. Why? Because God wanted it to - and because, no matter how corrupt its leaders may have been at times, it still holds the truths of Christ's teachings. It is very powerful against evil, and so it has been a huge target of those who want to destroy religion and establish the NWO.

Ever think all this Jesuit Illuminati conspiracy stuff might be disinformation?

Don't take my word for it - seek and you shall find. But you won't find it online. Why not step into a Catholic church, or talk to a priest - see what it's about. Experience it yourself and see if you believe all the nasty things that are said about it.

And by the way, the answer to the question is that the Pope would probably give you a bible - along with a hot meal and a place to sleep if you needed it. When I visited my local parish to tell them I was interested in converting and wanted to start classes, they gave me a bible, a Rosary, a crucifix, and a blessed candle. I was so touched, I cried.

This is exactly part of the NWO's agenda - don't fall for it. If each of us has our own truth - what kind of TRUTH is that? It's a free-for-all - exactly what they want!

He'd lend you the money, as long as you carve an inverted cross into the Bible and burn the whole text after you're done reading it.

I've never really understood that stipulation, but whatever.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1277549

 Quoting: DGN

Blessed John Paul was a very Holy man. But he doesn't need me to defend him - his strength and conviction speak for itself. Same with Benedict XVI - He will stand firm in the Truth, no matter how hard the Enemy tries to spread his lies and deceit and foster hatred for the original church of Christ.

With regard to the upside-down cross - (1) The cross alone upside down is not a Satanic or occult sign. It is the upside-down crucifix that is used by the occult. (2) Saint Peter was crucified upside down - he was the first Pope, so for Pope John Paul to be sitting on a throne with an upside-down cross on it is completely appropriate. (3) Catholics don't believe in symbols per se - contrary to the popular belief that Catholics believe certain symbols or items hold supernatural powers - they don't actually believe that the power is within the item itself - the power comes from God, expressed and given, if it is in accordance with His will, through the FAITH expressed by the believer. So, if that upside down cross means nothing to the Pope or anyone else sitting there, then it has no power as an occult sign.

The Catholic church has a number of pagan symbols that just were assimilated at the time of the early church. If you read the book of Acts, you will know that the Holy Spirit was given to the Apostles to go out and preach the gospel to the different regions and to assimilate its teachings and rituals, etc with the symbols and rituals that were already existing within a culture so that they could be embraced and understood. A wonderful example of this is the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Look into it! It's fascinating!

Like this?
"Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness? 15 Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God; just as God said: “I shall reside among them and walk among [them], and I shall be their God, and they will be my people.” 17 “‘Therefore get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take YOU in.’” 18 “‘And I shall be a father to YOU, and YOU will be sons and daughters to me,’ says Jehovah the Almighty.” 2Cor6:14
