On that page "Ammendments" goes here (farther down page) [ link to www.senate.gov] and says this for second ammendment: "Amendment II (1791) A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." WHAT IS WEIRD IS OFF TO THE RIGHT OF THAT IT SAYS THIS (wtf) "Whether this provision protects the individual's right to own firearms or whether it deals only with the collective right of the people to arm and maintain a militia has long been debated." Looks like they need to update their little 'debate' issue with the Supreme Court decision, doesn't it? I'll bet they also consider a people's militia to be the National Guard and nothing else.
