He brought it on himself by drastically and substantially changing his story from one interview to the next, and by lying (or saying something he was supposed to keep quiet) about having a casualty list more than a full day before one existed.

Even if we completely ignore/forgive all the incorrect 'facts' reported and technicalities fumbled surrounding the event, we still have the Robbie Parker hearty laughter video, the medical examiner's, uh, drunken stupor(?) press conference, and Grandpa Gene's numerous and ever-evolving interviews. Anyone with eyes, ears, and at least half a functioning brain that watches those videos should know that we're being force-fed a most preposterous, absurd, and ridiculous FICTION.

If I was in the area, I'd poop on Gene's lawn.
