Noun An acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. Something one accepts as true or real; a firmly held opinion or conviction.
That is the definition of belief.
It is synonymous with faith, and opinion.
Verb Be aware of through observation, inquiry, or information. Have knowledge or information concerning.
That is the definition of know.
Given this information and your experience can you safely say you 'know' or 'believe' in a god?
Quoting: Urban Crusader To "know" God would necessitate talking with God. Can anyone honestly say that God has talked to them. Verbally. Can anyone honestly say that God has answered their prayer? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32415920 yes, god has answered my prayers. He took me from a very sick and twisted world, much more twisted than earth could ever be.... and brought me here. And i don't have to worry about being crucified or killed like he did. So yes, god answered my prayers. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1747431 Can you be more specific? You immigrated to the US? You left Detroit? I didn't write a legal clause about what "answering prayer" meant, but , obviously, it's something that couldn't happen on it's own. ie. like you grew back a leg or eye or something. Moving to another location or recovering from an illness is normal for humans. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32415920 read what i said. He took me from a very sick world, and brought me here. Not detroit, not usa.. i was in another realm, and he brought me here to safety. Even though chaos is around me, i myself am safe.
