jesus spoke of gods grace, of a loving father...
would not connecting with this father, make us know about gods love and grace? Why did jesus have to die for us to be forgiven? Doesn't make sense

God established a new covenant with us in which He has offered to accept the life of His son as a payment for our sin so we do not lose our life with God. when did jesus say i offer my life for your sin? I remember him saying gods grace will free us from our sin? He never said his death would.
