Isis – Goddess of Darkness, and Chaos
The Goddess Isis was also known to the Sumerians as Tiamat, the Serpent of Chaos, the Ancient One, mother of the gods and all abominations of chaos.

12 stars our lad

The Egyptian god Set was originally a female deity and was identified with Isis. Set is a god of the desert, storms, and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion. In later myths he is also the god of darkness, and chaos. Hence, the connection with the Sumerian Tiamat, the Serpent of Chaos, the Ancient One, mother of the gods and all abominations and Isis who we also know as Set, the god of darkness, and chaos.

Here is an excerpt from the book, “Psychology of the Unconscious: A Study of the Transformations and Symbolisms,” by Carl Gustav Jung and Beatrice M. Hinkle:

Isis, the mother of god, played an evil trick on the sun-god with the poisonous snake; also Isis behaved treacherously toward her son Horus in Plutarch’s tradition. That is, Horus vanquished the evil Typhon, who murdered Osiris treacherously (terrible mother= Typhon). Isis, however, set him free again. Horus thereupon rebelled, laid hands on his mother and tore the regal ornaments from her head, whereupon Hermes gave her a cow’s head. Then Horus conquered Typhon a second time. Typhon, in the Greek legend, is a monstrous dragon.

Cadmus

In the bible scholars often associate the dragon or serpent with the devil and we find Isis had morphed into Typhoon which means “terrible mother” also associated with the dragon. The Sumerian Tiamat who is the Serpent of Chaos could be to some the equivalent what they may call the Devil and this would be where we later would get the Egyptian Set connection to Goddess Isis. They all did terrible things and are associated with serpents, darkness and chaos.

Isis, the Dark Goddess was also often depicted carrying a phallic object which identifies the male emblem with its solar origin as symbol of the Sun.

Washington Monum

Therefor, she carries the sun under he veil for she is the the Great Mother to the Son of the Sun, Horus who she also nurses on her breast for she is the Moon Goddess or the Goddess of darkness, and chaos.

The name Isis means “Throne” or “She of the Throne.” Her headdress is frequently shown with a a vulture resting on top of her head such as in the picture to the above left and in Egypt she was frequently called Man, and her totem there was a vulture. Below is the definition of vulture’s feeding habits from wikipedia

Vultures seldom attack healthy animals, but may kill the wounded or sick. When a carcass has too thick a hide for its beak to open, it waits for a larger scavenger to eat first. Vast numbers have been seen upon battlefields. They gorge themselves when prey is abundant, until their crop bulges, and sit, sleepy or half torpid, to digest their food. They do not carry food to their young in their claws, but disgorge it from the crop. These birds are of great value as scavengers, especially in hot regions. Vulture stomach acid is exceptionally corrosive, allowing them to safely digest putrid carcasses infected with Botulinum toxin, hog cholera, and anthrax bacteria that would be lethal to other scavengers. New World vultures often vomit when threatened or approached. Contrary to some accounts, they don’t ‘projectile vomit’ on their attacker as a deliberate defense, but it does lighten their stomach load to make take-off easier, and the vomited meal residue may distract a predator, allowing the bird to escape.New World vultures also urinate straight down their legs; the uric acid kills bacteria accumulated from walking through carcasses, and also acts as evaporative cooling.

This is why you see the vulture as the headdress of Isis.

Isis666

Let us just say that she has a very tough and important job to do in the ecosystem we know of as our lives. More so than many people will ever know before the vulture may kill the wounded or sick.

Isis became very powerful deity in the late Egyptian dynasties of the Greeks and the Romans because of her magical skills. You will find that Cleopatra had always appeared in public clothed in a robe sacred to Isis and magic her central role as the Goddess of the Darkness and Chaos we know of as our current world.

I agree and I also believe it was officially announced at the 2012 Olympics as well with the Phoenix who represents the Son of the Sun, Horus.

The Phoenix is H

Horus the Brave, the offspring of the Sun, Allglorious: whom the Sun has chosen, and the valiant Ares (Mars) has endowed. His goodness remains for ever, whom Ammon loves, who fills with good the temple of the Phoenix. To him the Gods have granted life, Horus the brave, the son of Heron Rhamestes, the king of the world: He has protected Egypt and subdued her neighbours: Him the Sun loves. The gods have granted him great length of life. He is Rhamestes, the Lord of the World, the Immortal. - The Obelisk of Heliopolis Third Verse

Isis - the second Queen of Egypt,
Hathor - the first Queen of Egypt, that are mistaken for their identity.
Hathor and Isis are the only two Egyptian Queen-Goddesses who wore the same crown.
Hathor as an oldest and the First Queen of Egypt coronet Isis as her first follower, passing to her own crown. This was the only time in ancient Egypt when queen passed her own crown to the younger queen.
Further more, both Queens wear similar looking the cow-horns symbolizing motherhood, that emphasized Queen maternity role. A solar disc place inside the crown is representing cosmic power of both Queens, that symbolize a leading Goddesses on the Egyptian Pantheon. Both Queens wore the solar disc and the exactly same tall feather crowns on special occasions. However, the feather crown later become known exclusively as Isis symbol, a "Sathis Crown", that she wore more often in following years during the public ceremonies.

In time of pre-dynastic Egypt, Hathor wore her crown in public only few times during her entire cadences. She was a simple woman, most of the time seen on the drawings as female without the crown.
To avoid confusion the following generations of Egyptian Queens and Kings had their own distinctive headdresses, crowns and wardrobe.

I just read "Isis is the queen of Hades" - This indicates a negative energy.

So with that in mind now, does that mean that Thoth's emerald tablets are lessons in darkness? Or light, like it claims?

I guess I'm trying to figure out where those tablets come into play in relation to the KJV...

Isis is Set and Set is Isis. They are one and the same. Yes, Horus is the son of Isis and the the Father, the Sun, Osiris. Horus was not evil, but the man born from sin or an angel born in hell or the "light born from darkness." Hence, Horus is righteous and just for he represents the truth, light and ORDO.

Isis, the mother of god, played an evil trick on the sun-god with the poisonous snake; also Isis behaved treacherously toward her son Horus in Plutarch’s tradition.

So, what is this relationship between Isis & Set?

I can see Horus (Hermes/Thoth) is the son of Isis.

Does this make Horus evil-born? Or is he righteous/just?

I just read "Isis is the queen of Hades" - This indicates a negative energy.

So with that in mind now, does that mean that Thoth's emerald tablets are lessons in darkness? Or light, like it claims?

I guess I'm trying to figure out where those tablets come into play in relation to the KJV...

We are living in a world with forced duality and where it has been set up to be good and bad, hell and heaven and order or chaos. As it has been said and I can 110% agree, we live in a world that can be called Satan's playground.

Thoth is like Solomon. The Greeks' interpretation that he was the same as their god Hermes. He signifies wisdom and is the scribe, thus "true scribe. Just as the Saints of the Old and New Testament had interpreted the word of God, so did Thoth and often, these words will describe the dark world we live in, but also the light that can be found as well.

The KJV is a hybrid newer book of the Old and New Testaments plus the Book of the Dead etc that had incorporated many of these ancient teachings concealed in Christianity.

Re: Isis – Goddess of Darkness, and Chaos
Isis is queen of Hades and the chaos which is simply our world we live in rite at this moment. It is often said that this is Satan's playground and as we all know in the bible, the great serpent is equated to the devil or satan. What does this make Isis?

Isis and Hecate go hand in hand

they are Goddesses of the Moon/Mind and control crossroads
Hermeticism plays into this and the Great Work hf

..Lucius Apuleius (c. 123 – c. 170 CE) in his work “The Golden Ass” associates Hecate with Isis:
‘I am she that is the natural mother of all things, mistress and governess of all the elements, the initial progeny of worlds, chief of powers divine, Queen of heaven, the principal of the Gods celestial, the light of the goddesses: at my will the planets of the air, the wholesome winds of the Seas, and the silences of hell be disposed; my name, my divinity is adored throughout all the world in divers manners, in variable customs and in many names, [...] Some call me Juno, others Bellona of the Battles, and still others Hecate. Principally the Ethiopians which dwell in the Orient, and the Egyptians which are excellent in all kind of ancient doctrine, and by their proper ceremonies accustomed to worship me, do call me Queen Isis…” From Wikipedia

NICE and I agree. Thanks for adding this information. hf

She is in charge of the CHAO which some would equate to magical mind control. This we can see represented in Madonna

Leopard Madonna

and how she often is depicted as Isis.

This is the great work and myself have been through the great fire from Hades and back to purify my heart and self to break these ancient Masonic and Theological seals.
