Lincoln went to the Rothschilds in order to finance his unlawful war of aggression upon the South. Just because he didn't like their terms doesn't mean he tried to shut them down.

Everything he did is STILL unlawful and unconstitutional. Just because he refused to do business with the Rothschilds doesn't mean he is a hero, nor does it make what he did lawful or moral in any sense of the word.

No war is ever perfect but you have to choose a side. There could be different reasons behind each persons choice but here would of been mine.

If I were alive back then I KNOW in my heart I would of been fighting for Lincoln and the north. I am a white woman so I would of supported the soldiers or hidden slaves because it was the right thing to do.

There have been slaves from the beginning of time in some form or another but it is wrong and we all know it. I just can't imagine believing that I could purchase a person and use them to my benefit.

Sometimes I am angry at blacks when they are still angry at whites because half of this country fought and many died to help them.

It honestly just seems so incredibly crazy that human beings actually think that one color of skin is better than the other. Now I am Irish and I love my ancestors but I don't think we were superior in Gods eyes.


So whatever all the reasons for that war were the end result was inevitable because there was no way in hell that good people would of let that craziness go on forever and still slept at night with a good concious.

Whether it was 50 years before or 100 years later that war was coming.

Sure, it may have been stupid. But if Lincoln would have acquiesced to a peaceful separation, which is what he should have done and was completely and entirely lawful and within the bounds of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, there would have been no need to attack Fort Sumter.

Why did the confederates NEED to attack anyways? Just because they deemed it a threat? That is insanity.

My vote was a write in for Ron Paul. Had the media not illegally buried his campaign we might of actually had a chance in this country. Now we will continue to lose our rights until the rest of you finally get it and fight back. Hopefully everybody figures this out before we have ANOTHER civil war.

Lincoln should have been charged with genocide, had he lived, but I doubt he would have either way. You don't decimate an entire section of the country and not pay the consquences. My family have been in the North since we arrived here with the pilgrims - and it was even obvious to us.

Wrong, read that article. A Union general secretly relocated a hundred troops there, well before Lincoln tried to feed them as they were starving.. Lincoln wasnt some master manipulator, he was more of a puppet as one poster mentioned before. All presidents are, and if they dont want to be controlled, they get assassinated.

The point that Lincoln haters never mention is that South Carolina seceded before the Ft Sumter attack, and the confederates were actually the first threat to the country.
