Walmart Blow up! I Exploded on a lady at Walmart in front of her family.
Was at Walmart earlier and decided to go and check on the ammo supplies just for a laugh. This lady was straddling one of the motorized carts with 3-4 kids blocking the entire aisle. There was a space about a foot wide so I took it and passed between then quickly never saying a word not touching anyone. I stopped at the case about ten feet away and in front of the other customers and her family she muttered "You would've thought they would've taught the word EXCUSE ME these days. It ain't that hard of a word to say!"

This was clearly intended for me to hear. The other customers stopped and just stared. I was fed up. I normally would just shrug it off and walk away, but I have been feeling so beaten down that I needed to stand up for my own honor. I turned around and walked right between them again, stopped and said Excuse me! and then proceeded to walk away.

Shy decided to escalate the situation and correct me further-mistake. She said that I needed to show her family some manners and say excuse me and not just push through people. I told her that she didn't need to take up the ENTIRE aisle with her family spread out and kids on the floor. Other people are shopping here and you made No intention on moving out of my way as you saw me coming. This is not her store and she needed to be more mindful of others not the other way around. You bring all you kids, then corral then accordingly.

At that point she stood up. Not waiting for her to respond I said "Miracles do exist! You can walk, not sure why you need to ride around on that cart, unless you're just too lazy to, since those are intended for disabled shoppers that really CAN"T walk through the store." She mumbled trying to find her words. I looked at the other shoppers who stood there, mouths open. I just said "Whatever.." and walked away.

I kind of feel like Michael Douglas in Falling Down. It did feel good to unload on her though.

It ain't just where you are at OP, manners have gone the way of the dodo...When I was growing up, we were taught to get out of peoples and the "flow" of traffic way...sadly that didn't carry very far into the post baby boomer era....at 49, I'm a late "Baby Boomer"

People just don't "give a fuck" anymore....the last example i recall was lat weekend at the gun show, now you would think that most gun "enthusiast" would possess some manners but no...see a buddy, park it right in the middle of the isle and talk about the weather....

I don't know if I'm just getting older but most people are giving me a case of the "red ass".

Falling Down- EXCellent movie.

Sometimes OP, we just cant take it anymore and have to snap. Its difficult to be so PC all the time.

I kind of had a situation like that at a walmart with an ex. We were on the aisle and a very very very large woman was in the motorized cart of course blocking the aisle, specifically, what we needed on the top shelf.

We waited a few mins patiently, band she knew we were there, she just kept looking at her list.

Well because she was in the scooter...and the ex was quite tall, he got to the side. And reached over grabbing what we needed.

I felt relief.

Then she spun her cart in our direstion as we started to walk away, and shouted "ASSHOLE" to the ex.

He turned bright red, but he didnt do anything, we continued shopping.

Meanwhile, it was starting to make him madder and madder thinking about it. (The ex was incredibly snotty, better then the world attitude). He was so offended, that he graced his presense among walmart trash, then above all else was called an asshole by a fat lady on a hovaround.

He managed to follow her conveniently around the store passive aggressive like, and got in front of her every chance he could get, never saying a word.

When we finally headed to checkout she came toodling behind onher cart.....and shouted "YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE, AND YOU ALWAYS WILL BE"

....then we left. He boycotted walmart for a month or so.

My ex was a jerk, so ironically it was funny....

But.....

To another nice person, not so much.

I dont get why just because you are on a damn scooter, you feel entitled to not have any manners whatsoever!!!!!

Good for u OP.

I get disgusted as well when people that are fully capable of walking use a motorized cart. I've seen people use them & then walk out to their vehicles.

When I had foot surgery almost 5 years ago, there was a few times I had to wait to use one & there were a few times the people that were using them could walk.

I try to not be mean most of the time but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself.

I had a huge fat woman in one of those motorized carts at the grocery store in front of me at the checkout. I waited patiently while she sorted the WIC food and the food stamp food and then the coupon food.

I felt sorry for her but the worst thing was she smelled horrible, her kids were wild and dirty and hitting each other.

She acted like she didn't notice the kids and didn't know how bad she smelled. But the way she thought she could take all the time she wanted while she dug through her purse and sorted through her freebies was irritating.

She could have had all that ready while she drove around the store. When she rolled away the checker tried to be sneaky about taking out air freshener and spraying a little.

At least I left with a grin after that and knowing I didn't have to work with that all day like the poor girl running the register

Just try it for a month and see how incredibly difficult it is not to be rude to someone who is rude to you. If you can do it, it's a major accomplishment. To hit back is easy, to walk away is difficult.

That is why the bible says that the tongue is the hardest thing to control, and it's true.

I just yell loudly EXCUSE ME. People tend to get out of my way. Way to go. Dont let the people off the hook just because they are the rude ones. Always stand up for yourself. If people are blocking the isles make them move. To the Turd human who used the word cracker. I would have used your fatass wife to beat your head in then taken one of your eyes home with me.
