I have a newspaper from Boston, dated 1796 with an act of Congress giving funds(pay)to Congress and signed in ink by George Washington.

Thomas Jefferson is one of the largest reasons why the Americans are in the quandary that they are in today.

It would be more accurate to say that T. Jefferson believed that there were two enemies of the people. However, he never believed that his clandestine actions outside the government and above criminality (from a certain point of view) was not above the will of the people.

To be sure, Thomas Jefferson would be standing at my side nodding in agreement, but saying nothing.

People require to be led. The people of any nation-state without leaders are like a pack of wild dogs without a clear cut alpha.

Where the attack originated is inconsequential. What is important is that the weak must be protected by the strong.

Know your place and keep it. There is not dishonor in fighting for the very system which you disdain. Quite the contrary, you should be rewarded for it. However, never misjudge empathy for weakness.
