I work with photoshop quite a bit and also noticed these oddities (as well as a few others).

Here is the Soto class photo. This also includes a natural impossibility which can't be done without some form of photo alteration being used.

Notice directly to the left of the boy with the blue/white striped shirt. There is a vertical shadow (almost tan colored) running vertically directly beside him. The issue is left of his elbow this vertical shadow overlaps another darker background shadow, and when it does the vertical shadow isn't transparent like it should be.
