So I Just Saw a State Trooper in An Army Surplus Store Buying 6 Buckets of Storable Food
I guess there isn't too much better of a sign of SHTF time than state troopers buying up arm loads of storable food. I stood there for about a half hour talking with him about what brands of storable food are good and what the difference was between what the store offered.

He seemed really edgy and also paid with cash...

He figures when the feds tell him it's time to confiscate guns that he'll just take his family to the hunting cabin in the woods and wait out the civil war.

Yes because out of all the things I could lie about, that is what I would go with...for sure...

And I was going to and was trying to get a pic but he kept looking at me suspiciously and I didn't want to create a scene.

In uniform?? Seems unlikely.

However, Today, three women my husband works with actually asked him in the break room whether he thought the Sandy shooting was a hoax? I have never seen that kind of conspiracy awareness spread that far & fast before.

So yeah, weird things happening. Probably SHTF any day now.

Believable.
...and good thing you didn't try to snap a pic of him in that scenario. That would be unwise.

Well the Sandy Hook thing was the first time they really fucked up trying to use the media as a means of obscuring facts and making shit completely up. Plus the more people keep talking about false flags and so called conspiracies and the more TPTB perpetrates these heinous acts of violence to try and fear the public into submission, the more truth will be revealed.

He was asking me about the different kinds of Wise storable food buckets. The Surplus store near my house has the meat and poultry buckets and the white vegetarian buckets as well as a seven day supply and some sample boxes. I was explaining the differences between them and also about other brands like Auguson and eFoods Direct. Personally, I prefer eFoods for food quality but the shipping kills.

One thing I like about Wise foods is you boil 4 cups of water drop in the contents of the packet and boom, meal in 5 minutes. Can't beat that.

I had three co-workers ask me last week to meet with them at lunch to talk to them about SHTF information. They appreciated it so much they asked me to meet with them regularly, tomorrow is the second meeting. I gave them tons of links, we talked about field medicine, keeping a low profile, bug out bags, getting out of town protocols, water purification, colloidal silver, on and on.

It's wakey wakey time in 'Merica....

Good to know I bout a 30 day supply from walmart.com because they offered free shipping vs like $100 shipping or something like that from auguson directly. I hate to support walmart but in the end it really isn't going to matter is it...

Yes, I agree, and I am being careful with how I lay it out. I've known and worked closely with these guys for over a year and they all have families, so I think it's worth the risk. When SHTF, I'll be gone in a flash anyway to my family bug out locale, which they have no knowledge of any particulars except that it's "north of here."

I appreciate your insight, thank you for speaking up.

I'm in the bulk food business here in Raleigh, and can tell you that in addition to law enforcement, my business with military personnel has picked up as well. I'm talking high brass too like Navy captains and lt colonels in the marines, and SF soldiers from Bragg.

No, don't "be careful". Be direct and be sure of your convictions. We DO NOT need to fear the government...they need to fear US. We are the ones in control. We are the ones who decide what happens...fuck them!

Re: So I Just Saw a State Trooper in An Army Surplus Store Buying 6 Buckets of Storable Food
I don't think he lying folks. My son talked with a state trooper a couple of weeks ago. His daughter and my son are friend from high school. They got on the subject of gun control and the government. He took my son down to,the basement and showed him 2 large gun safes. Inside those safes were 4 ar 15, 4 or 5 glock pistols and some misc. firearms. He told my son that he took out a 14,000 loan and bought those ars and glocks, and a shit load of ammo and storable food. Told my son that the day he's ordered to confiscate weapons from the people he swore to protect is the day he turns his badge in. He told my son something's coming. Gave him 400 rds of 223 and told him to start preparing. I told my son to stay in contact with him, if the shit goes down he will know before anybody else does. So O.P's story sounds pretty legit to me.

six buckets of 60 meals a piece. 6 months to start and if you have enough ammo acquiring more food shouldn't be an issue.
