Germany`s gold held hostage by the Federal Reserve
It’s quite clear that the German gold is being held hostage. They are not getting what they want. They are getting what the Federal Reserve is telling them they can have.

The fact that they are doing it over 7 years rather than 7 weeks, is just an indication that gold probably isn’t in the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Reserve doesn’t want to have to go out and buy it overnight to fulfill the German demand.

They are trying to stretch it out as long as possible in order to keep gold prices controlled.”

The fact that they (Fed) are not sending the gold back right away, to me is just a clear sign the German gold is being held hostage.

It’s potentially a powder keg here in terms of how the gold market is positioned at the moment because there is so much paper (claims on gold) out there, relative to so little physical, that a lot of paper gold is going to be defaulted upon.

It will be interesting to see whether this leads to other central banks also asking for their physical gold. And more importantly, since there are so many paper (claims on gold) in the various gold ETFs around the world, it will be interesting to see whether the institutional investors are starting to recognize what the central banks are doing, and take some of that GLD and all of the other ETF paper and start saying, ‘Look, I don’t want shares, I actually want ounces. Deliver me the physical metal."

Federal Reserve is acting EXACTLY like a mob boss, a mafia gangster.

This is huge news! This should be headlined on frontpages of all financial, economy newspapers and editorials.

That gold is the property of Germany. It is stored at Federal Reserve. The gold is either gone, or most of the gold at the FEDs store are faked with tungsten.

Game over Federal Reserve!

After this central banks will have no confidence in other central banks. And when banks dont trust eachother, it could break down the whole banking system.

And when people realize the papermoney is worth nothing...

They(Federal Reserve) might even have the physical gold, but because they want to avoid any shocks shooting the price of gold up, they withheld it from Germany.

Or the gold is really gone!

Or whats left of it are mainly faked tungsten goldbars.

LOL.

All the FED has to do is punch in some digits and suddenly new money is created, backed up by nothing.

Other countries cannot work this magic... Hence we rely on the gold.

Fort Faux is empty, that's for sure

Fed isn't smart, at least show them a room filled with gold coated tungsten bars. Now when other countries see this they will want their gold too (at least audit it).

Many Americans have been SCREAMING this for decades...Maybe now we will get our wish. Sad thing is... The truth will change the world... And not for the better I'm afraid.

Chart of who "owns" the Federal Reserve

"Chart 1 reveals the linear connection between the Rothschilds and the Bank of England, and the London banking houses which ultimately control the Federal Reserve Banks through their stockholdings of bank stock and their subsidiary firms in New York.

The two principal Rothschild representatives in New York, J. P. Morgan Co., and Kuhn,Loeb & Co. were the firms which set up the Jekyll Island Conference at which the Federal Reserve Act was drafted, who directed the subsequent successful campaign to have the plan enacted into law by Congress, and who purchased the controlling amounts of stock in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in 1914."

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

Re: Germany`s gold held hostage by the Federal Reserve
I hate to break it to you folks, but in the real world of banks, stocks, and other big-money types, that kind of BS actually works.

To all of us, and probably any other intelligent person, it's obvious that the Fed does not have the gold. But when it comes to making the deal, the lie is just as good as the gold.

Remember when the US was about to go into the red-zone over the debt ceiling? They made those 40+ billion-per-month deals? We all knew that was bogus, but nobody in Big Money gave a damn. The Fed says it's OK, so it was OK, and the stock market boomed. It was actually GOOD news for them.

This is no different. If the truth comes from us, it's an annoyance. If a lie comes from them, it's awesome, and it works. Just relax, and let them lie to each other, and to us, and try to make some cash where you can.

If there actually is a gold crisis, rest assured that all of YOUR physical gold will be rendered meaningless in some atrocious -but perfectly acceptable - way.

Jim Sinclair: German Gold Repatriation a Reaction to Geithner’s Take-Down of Gold at $1800 Via the ESF

"Legendary gold trader Jim Sinclair has sent an email alert to subscribers today stating that the Bundesbank’s announcement that they will repatriate 300 tons of gold from the NY Fed and 374 tons from the Bank of Paris is in direct response to outgoing Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s take-down of gold at $1800 in October via the ESF.

Sinclair states that a Central Bank would not insult another major central bank unless it is an act of financial war, and that a full blown financial gold war is coming as soon as 2015-2017.

Have we seen the initial shot in a full blown global currency war?"
