Re: Aldous Huxley (1962 Lecture): The Ultimate Revolution - Getting People To Love Their Servitude
There is no way of revealing truth without pain for both of us, because itis quite true that "truth hurts", and there doesnot seems to be any anesthesia for it.

First of all allow be to explain insanity. Insanity as all things, comes in degrees, but here is the simple definition of insanity “Knowing right from wrong”; push it up a notch: in all its many degrees and variations.

You all are insane.
Look at this word, and then see if you can see what I see:

Masochism
Now tell me, please, what is so “new” about that.
In other words the Titile of this thread shouldhavebeen:
“Masochism and the Dominatrix”
See that?

Now youall are backto sane again, but the problem is that it is only fleeting, because you are only sane when iam here. Bubye

I guess this guy works for CNN or something because he sure is following the line that is currently being made popular by the (controlled) MSM, that questioning anything = mental illness (and therefor a danger to others).

You obviously didn't listen to the videos, but thanks for proving my original statement with your ignorance.
In light of the recent Sandy Hook event (attacks on the 2nd amendment) and the subsequent MSM aftermath (coming attacks on the 1st amendment via the PLANNED scapegoat of mental health/illness due to what they term as "conspiracy theories")...

That's another scary part. They are expecting to swallow anything they spit through the TV Box without asking any questions. Just like an obedient slave should.

The MSM themselves are NOT actually asking questions that matter anymore.

They are keeping at this type of programming very strongly. Soon anyone, who will ask even a simplest question about true agenda of something, will be labeled a conspiracy nut. And maybe even arrested and taken to a forced 'reprogramming' center, if this goes on for another 10-20 years like that without some DRASTIC events happening.

Next book on the list to read. This post to me seems as an introduction to the book. I may understand better, what he is saying ater reading, "A Brave New World."

Yup. That one is a must read.

Considering he wrote it in 1932, and how much he has hit the nail on the head, if we compare the book to what we see now, it is indeed extremely scary.
 Quoting: Abyss Lady

The role (technique) of television is what scares me most in light of this Sandy Hook event, and how soon anyone that questions anything in the slightest (conspiracy theorists) will be deemed "mentally ill" and a danger to their community (already starting on the massively controlled MSM), while anyone that fights back in any way (including protest in the near future) will be deemed a "homegrown extremist" (especially after the protests turn violent... which is pre-planned). Both these "labels" are to be used on a massive scale in the near future (by government & MSM) as an excuse to further limit rights on an even more extreme level, while acting like they are "just doing it for everyones protection".

Huxley and Orwell apparently had a good deal of fear regarding the police state, the NWO, and the "existing elite."

Author H.G. Wells (The Time-Machine, War of the Worlds, The Invisible Man) seemed(?) all in favor of those things, and wrote many books--including "How should we Live our Lives", and "The New World Order"--explaining their purpose, benefits, and means to accomplish.

Below is a bibliography of his incredible works:

The alternate title for one of the books listed is "The Open Conspiracy."

In his book, "Between Two Ages," Brzezinski wrote: "The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values."

Scientific dictatorship: With the drones in the air and every single digital communication, from cellphone calls, to emails, to texts, to internet history, we are completely surveilled. This is here, now.

Torture and terror, the way Yosef Stalin implemented it, was through the most horrific manners possible: boiling a bishop alive in a cauldron, and forcing the priests to drink the soup made of their bishop...Or, slicing open the stomach of a victim, pulling out the small intestine and stapling it to a wooden pole, and forcing the victim to run around the pole by whipping him repeatedly.

Today, the torture and terror is not so physically violent, but it certainly is as sinister.

Think about what freedoms you truly have left. You own nothing. You do not own your car or your house. If you stop paying your 'tribute' aka property taxes, then you will discover who truly owns your car and your house.
The last frontier which you can claim to fully own is your body and your mind.

And, with Affordable Care Act, your body is up for grabs.
And most minds have been compromised decades ago, with mass media and television.

If you are not frightened as hell about what the future holds in store, then thank God you are still asleep, and pray you remain that way.

Re: Aldous Huxley (1962 Lecture): The Ultimate Revolution - Getting People To Love Their Servitude
Mr Huxley has recently returned from a conference at the Institute for the study of Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara where the discussion focused on the development of new techniques by which to control and direct human behavior.

Oh thats nice.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32381683

Aldous Huxley also took LSD more than once with Bill Wilson, founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (Bill Wilson was more than 20 years "sober" when he decided to ingest hallucinogenic drug LSD to discover a cure for alcoholism. Huxley also loved the substance.)

I do not want to derail this thread: But I often wonder, if psychedelic substances are the key to peace, understanding, and realizing human potential.
 Quoting: The Sonic Dreamer

Those substances are quite illegal in every way, shape, and form. They are the quickest way to a felony and a very long stay in a maximum security prison.

There is nothing more on this matter that should be discussed. Leave it be.
