I'm up in the North West and nothing here, although it's about 100 miles or so away!

I suspect, like many that incoming CME events and general sun activity attributes to many quakes?!

This quake wasn't particularly strong but there are CME'S en-route which could make this a precursor to something much larger?!!

Didn't feel anything and am only maybe 10 miles away from the epicentre, that said I was probably in the land of nod at the time.

Had a 5.5ish one not too far away in the other direction maybe 5 years ago now, that one I did feel, quite the boneshaker.

EMSC England, United Kingdom Jan 18 05:20 AM 3.0 13.0 MAP I Felt It

USGS England, United Kingdom Jan 18 05:20 AM 2.9 12.0 MAP I Felt It

•Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough, Leicester - Woke up and heard a light rumble and just a little judder, only lasted about 2-3 seconds

•Shepshed uk - Dog barked before, heard a low but loud rumbling sound followed by light shaking

•Mountsorrel, Leicestershire - There was a rumble, like a train or a wind and then the house shook once, like something hitting it.

•Nottingham - Woke me up. Noticeable rumble and an obvious shake. Live on the 4th floor. Was definitely a tremor as I have experienced tremors in Chile, South America.

I didn't feel this one (I wouldn't expect to feel a 2.9), but I did feel the 5.2 in '08 (although I wasn't asleep).
