How To Solve That Equation? 6/((2)¹+(2)²) = x | |
DUCM900 (OP) User ID: 32598679 Italy 01/19/2013 07:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Are you sure? 1n is the equivalent of: 1(n) and if you multiply by 2 you get just: 2(n) not: ((2)(n)) Thats an example multiplying BOTH sides by 2 in that equation: (1+2) = x 2(1+2) = 2(x) not (2(1+2)) = (2(x)) . If you have 6/2*(1+2), you do what is in the parentheses first, that is the addition of 1 and 2. The multiplication isn't inside the parentheses, so you don't do it first! If you absolutely insist on doing the multiplication first, you can, but only if you multiply what is inside the parentheses by 6/2. That means it comes out to: (6/2 * 1 + 6/2 * 2) otherwise, you are doing it wrong. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32614604 Yes, because its 1(n) . are you absolutely sure that there is a rule which says "do what is inside the parentheses first and also do some stuff outside the parentheses"? the basic form of the expression is: a/b*c why would you want to do the b*c first??? |
