Quoting: Halcyon Dayz, FCD Do you now know why balloons fly? ![]() Air pressure is not weight.. A bathroom scale should feel the weight of about a ton from atmospheric gas. Why doesn't it..? You have already said humans aren't affected by the weight of the atmosphere because we are liquid.. and liquid doesn't compress easily. So... we can't feel the weight..? We have all of this weight pressing down... that we don't feel..which creates air pressure... A bathroom scale compresses easily.. and it is not liquid. It is not a balloon, either. But it measures nothing..? You don't know. |

Quoting: Learn me 1499591 Any specialist on this subject here? well, the Physicists can have their "curved space" (because they need it for other stuff), but curved space doesn't account for gravity. i mean: light is bent when it passes by the edge of a piece of paper, even! ie. DIFFRACTION. so,... |

Go and find a very tall building. 2. Go to the top of said building and locate the roof. 3. Step off the edge of the roof. Gravity explained. GLP alert level 2; "Go get a hard hat:. I just facepalmed so hard after reading this thread it left a bruise. |

The guy that built coral castle (leerskillen or something like that) said gravity as we know it doesn't exist, he put it down to the fact that every object has a magnetic pull, that's how he claimed he built his castle and how the pyramids were built. It's sketchy but I thought I'd put it out there. Quoting: Level0 Personally I think science lost its way after Newton when it went truly materialistic. I think 'invisible forces', earth energy, magnetism, electromagnetism, frequency etc.. Could answer a lot of scientific mysteries better than modern science. I did a degree in science and science was my god for many years. I've now lost faith in it completely, there's so much we don't know, misunderstand or have been sold false solutions to that I think many things will go unanswered. The ancients had the answers, we don't, why would that be? |

THAT'S RIGHT the weight SO it's weight that causes it! SIMPLE!!!!!! |
