Hardly surprising he was having a hard time getting it accepted for academic publication - what a gravy train stopper that would be. It's just another theory, I guess, but well worth the read.

For those who can't spend the time (like I normally can't) this guy is saying that they've got the shape of things wrong down there at the extremely tiny level and that helically polarised electro magnetism pulls everything together, rather like an Archimedes Screw draws water up.

He also says it could lead to unlimited free energy and also that it explains how a gravitational field might be generated in space for use by space crews.

It actually raised a few really abstract questions in my mind - and answers a few itself, such as why the core of the earth is red hot, how "permanent" magnets work, and why spiral galaxies are spiral.

Just waiting for the anti-gravity machine to be invented now!
