he there OP, i know how you feel, i know there's a void inside you, because i've been there,

i always believed in God,went to church, i found it amazing, untill i became 16,church didn't do it for me, it didn't add up what THEY said....

i began on a journey trough the satanic path, and stayed there untill my early 20's, nothing but bad luck, and still i felt i could better my ways

now, 8 years later i read the bible daily, pray and actually KNOW God is watching over us,just be kind to others, reflect on yourself( and then i mean think about how you want to live)
i can assure you there is a God out there and he cares just as much about you...you only have to find him bro.

this!! if there is 1 single truth out there, it is that you can trust there's a God up there, waiting for you...don't give up my friend, if you keep searching you WILL find him

life is just an education on how we should be,and everythings a gift, even the bad things, because they WILL make you stronger!!

try reading in the bible, but start with small parts, read what you wanna read, and then think about it. there's more truth in there then anything else!

no one can tell you "how" to believe in God that is something which comes from within. i am a theist, i believe in God but not in organized religion as i believe religion was created by man and is therefore flawed.

i respect all religions and respect true believers with the exception of islam and its followers who are backwards and violent trying to force their filthy cult onto the rest of us.

God isn't a person.

Worship is not required.

"God" is creation. The Matrix. The slow churning machine around you. When you take your blinders off you'll feel amazement and the love of it all.

Reality is multi-dimensional. It is matatical. When you're done with the hologram you call your body, you'll start again in a new one.

Don't take life so seriously. Nobody gets out alive.

There are basically only two "versions" of God sold today. The first version is the "god" who expects nothing in you to change, who tells you that sin and lawlessness don't exist, who tells you that all paths are equal and that man is basically "god" like itself if you'll just fall for its lying signs and wonders. . The second version is your Creator who has identified the reason for your separation from Him - sin - and has provided the way to overcome this condition, and who tells you that His Spirit will transform you through obedience and testing to strengthen you in your Faith, and who impresses upon you his qualities of justice, charity, compassion and mercy.

The "me me me" generation is indoctrinated to love the first version and reject the second. Therefore, knowing the time that we live in, the second is obviously the Truth.

There is only one way to find the true God of Heaven and Earth, OP, and that is seeking through humble prayer. It is categorically stated that it is the Father who calls and that it is the Father who enables faith, so if you are experiencing a tug, you may be being led to seek Him. Open your heart and humble your pride, and pour out your heart in prayer. It is He that searches all hearts.

Faith leads you into the body of believers which is not one denomination, but rather His vast body of brothers and sisters who love one another and who seek His glory, not their own.

Well said my friend. OP - I second this advice, just ask our Father in Heaven. However, when you do pray, and I only ask this of you because I know you are coming from an atheist's perspective, try your best to allow yourself to believe that there is a God and that He is listening to your every word as you speak it in your prayer. Talk to Him from your heart, and speak to Him candidly - He is our Father, and I can assure you that He knows your heart :-)

IF GOD WAS IN THE FAR OFF PLACE CALLED HEAVEN ONLY, YOU COULD NOT EVEN CONTACT HIM, THE SHEAR DISTANCE IN LIGHT YEARS COULD NOT CONNECT YOU. HE SENDS A PIECE OF HIMSELF THUS TO YOUR MIND, WHICH IS A PORTAL TO ALL THERE IS. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE ACCORDING TO WHERE YOU ARE THE TIME. THIS MEANS KNOWLEDGE, NOT ASKING FOR A NEW CAR.
