By far my favorite answer to that question... No... it's not.
Think of it like this.
When you are 5, you've lived 5 years. 1 year you have experienced at this age is 1/5th of your life. A year is A LOT of time in this regard - 20% of your life.
When you are 20, 1 year is only 5% of your entire life time experienced. It feels quicker, because in the grand scheme of things, you've got 19 years behind you to compare that 1 year to.
I asked my self the same question a few days ago, & thats what I found. It really does "feel" like it's going faster, because when we judge our reality, we are using our memory for reference. Just imagine how slow our first year on earth would have been...
