So, I just got off the phone with my insurance broker. I am getting ready to start my own consulting firm and will be purchasing my own insurance rather than going through my current employer... What he told me made me sick to my stomach:

Currently the plan I Am looking at is 30% higher than the same one last year... but that's not the bad part...

The plan the insurance companies have for funding the cost of Obamacare is to raise premiums on individuals who purchase their own insurance BY 75% next year. Our health insurance already costs us more than $800 a month for the family... an average mortgage payment... next year I will get to pay TWO mortgage payments for our insurance thanks to the "Affordable Care Act".
