All I know is that you should never allow your kids to play with even a toy hammer, and for sure never take a toy hammer to school. NEVER!!

I removed all the sticks from my woods so that my children wouldn't use them as a hammer or toy gun...I also removed all their fingers so they couldn't make the shape of a gun.
