when buying food never use debit or credit use cash
and never ever tell anyone your safe place or what you have or what you are dong no matter what
keep it to your self.

Even better, just grab an extra can or 2 of tuna, or an extra bag or 2 of rice, every time you grocery shop. It adds up quickly and it's not like you are at a bulk shop buying 600lbs of rice at one time. So if you are using a card, it just looks like a normal trip to the store. After a month you have a bunch of extras that will last you if you need them. That is what I do, just buy a little extra and store it away each time you go shopping. You would not believe what 20 dollars a week in staple items can get you in a year. You dont have to go crazy, just start doing it.
