And there was no ark with two of every animal on it. You should know this by common sense. What about the kangaroos? Did they swim across the ocean to join up with Noah? Remember that Australia was always a segregated land mass and there would have been no way for a pair of kangaroos or koala bears to have entered that boat. I was really just talking about the paper that came out last year that was widely discussed on here that showed evidence of a cataclysmic flood in pre history. I don't believe the animals on the ark or any of the other bs attached to it, just the fact that the biblical and pre biblical flood stories may have been based on a real past event. It's not to be taken literally of course.

The Pharaoh ordered all the sons of the Hebrews killed because apparently he was jealous of the number born to the Hebrews. This was well before the Passover and the Hebrews painting their doors with the blood of a lamb so the lord would passover them and kill the sons of the Egyptians instead.
