So the most historically scrutinized book in history is fiction...interesting perspective albeit wrong and without any critical analysis showed in this thread.

Disputing some aspects of the Bible is normal and welcomed in most discussions, but to claim its fiction could be considered ignorant.

Using hate speech to try and back up a shaky argument is also a fairly insecure method of getting any point across, but I understand why you feel this way.

I'm not sure how you can reconcile the archeological proof of chariots, skeletons of soldiers in full armor, and other things described in Exodus 14 found at the bottom of the Red Sea, but I suppose ignorance is bliss?!?

If you take a more logical approach and look at ALL of the Bible, and the evidence science gives us corroborating the history contained therein, you may have a more captive and receptive audience to your discussion.

In order for you to truly grasp the other side of the argument, even if you don't accept it initially is to spend time doing research and reading, the truth is not just going to fall into your lap as it's a valuable thing.

First to prove God exists using some simple logic: You have a conscience. Con-with science-knowledge, you were born with knowledge of the ten commandments written on your heart. You know it's wrong to take the Lord's name in vain, you know it's wrong to steal, you know it's wrong to murder, you know it's wrong to commit adultery, etc etc. Even if you don't follow them. You are not just chemical reactions, your not a can of soda, and sometimes when you get shook up you fizz good, and sometimes you fizz bad. Moreover the evidence for God is all around us in nature. First of all something can't come from nothing. There is HUGE holes in the theory of evolution for that matter.

Secondly, if you were to actually open up and read the Bible, even as a non-believer just to see what's in their. You would not only recognize Jesus Christ, and his teachings as the highest echelon of true love, but you would also realize that the endtime prophecy contained therein has been being fullfilled like never before in the last few years from red tides, to animal deaths, the fall of damascus, to the new world order, etc. Furthermore you would find that it's description for mankind in the endtimes is SO accurate that the only way it could have been written 2,000 years ago and contain such accuracy is by the divine revelation of God.

You can deny it all day long, but the fact remains the same, the Bible has been 100% accurate both prophetically & historically 100% of the time.

Unfortunately many followers of the bible will not acknowledge this likelihood as they believe it was all original material of it's day and sourced directly from 'God'. To concede that many elements/ideas in the bible were influenced from preexisting texts/ideas from cultures that worshipped different God(s) would be threatening to the dogma that has been created around the text.

Did I say a 'flood' never happened? Do you know what happens when glaciers melt? Still think it was 'God' who made the world flood for some selfish/spiteful reason? How about you do some more research on the geologic record and the cyclical/reoccuring nature of cataclysmic events here on Earth. 'Noah's flood' was not the first time such an event transpired and it will not be the last.

I'd like to see some substantial evidence to back the claims that none of archaeological finds are legitimate. Either way you can't refute all the other points in my megapost above. The truth remains the same no matter what any of us say. There is collectively more evidence for than against.
