APE Braham Lincoln film...
Curious Lincoln vampire hunter is at the movies very close to this Spielberg's "historial" Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln was 16th president from 1861 to 1865. J. A. Rogers quotes Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks, as saying that Abraham Lincoln was the illegitimate son of an African man. William Herndon, Lincoln's law partner, said that Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and that his mother was from an Ethiopian tribe. In Herndon's book entitled "The Hidden Lincoln" he says that Thomas Lincoln could not have been Abraham Lincoln's father because he was sterile from childhood mumps and was later castrated. Lincoln's presidential opponents made cartoon drawings depicting him as a Negro and nicknamed him “Abraham Africanus the First."

There are caricatures of the time depicting him like an ape maybe because he shared the same disease Akenaton pharaoh had: Marfan syndrome.

Maybe that's the reason Obama enjoys comparing himself with Abe as he enjoys being photographed with the Egyptian sphinx and pyramids.

Do you remember Burton's Planet of the Apes epiloque with Ape Braham Lincoln? What you probably DON'T REMEMBER is the previous film (Conquest of the Planet of the Apes) does have a scene where baby chimp (Caesar's son named Cornelius after his grandpa) writes something and gives it to his human teacher called ABE. The paper said "ape shall not kill ABE" in a tongue-twister reference to what was dictated "ape shall not kill ape".... well, Abe Lincoln was shot dead, wasn't he?

In Burton's movie Charlton Heston was uncredited and wore a make-up which took 12 hours in applying. Perhaps most of you don't remember Heston did Lincoln's voice in a movie long time before that simian adventure and played other presidents. Heston himself defended black people rights at that Lincoln monument along with mulato singer/actor Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier...

Nancy maybe spent time with the Berry family, including the children of Richard and Rachel after their deaths. She also spent time with Thomas and Elizabeth Hanks Sparrow. Although Sarah Mitchell Thompson related to her children that she and Nancy were cousins. We ignore she ever told them that their mothers were sisters. That seems to have been the convenient genealogical route taken.... make Lucy a Shipley. Have you seen one contemporary account that names Lucy as a Shipley? People who knew her, named Lucy as one of the Hanks sisters. The only mention of the Shipley name in Herndon's Informants is in a newspaper article by Charlotte S. Hobart Vawter, Sarah Mitchell's granddaughter.

The scant records of Lucy name her as a Hanks. In the court records where she appears, her occupation, if any, would have been irrelevant. Her marital status was relevant. Yes, spinsters spin, but to the Mercer county clerk it undoubtedly meant that she was unmarried and had never been married.

Dennis Hanks said that Lucy was his aunt, the sister of his mother. He should have known, he had close personal knowledge of both of them. Dennis spent time with his aunt Betsy Hanks Sparrow and in the Lincoln household. Why if he wasn't their nephew and cousin as he claimed?

Heston appeared in Caesar himself

Since he was old and weak Robinson couldn’t bear the make-up and he was replaced by other actor.

Robinson’s last film was Soylent Green with Heston. He passed away (from cancer) just days after filming the DYING SCENE.

Heston as a chimp did a dying scene as well and almost word by word mentioned the same damnation for mankind as he did in the original film KNEELING in front of Statue of Liberty. In 10 Commandments Heston rises up his hand in the same gesture of the Statue in a context about being a TORCH and proclaim “liberty” while his wife, Joshua and his wife and Moses’ son KNEEL before him. ... I wonder if due to his own interest and admiration for the character Spielberg just read books backing him up and not the un-orthodox books. I know Charlton Heston and Gregory Peck (who looked like Abe in his portrayal of captain Ahab in Moby Dick) did extensive research about the man. But then again, if you read 1000 books telling you what you wanna believe, you could be picky and NOT choosing to read uncomfortable things.

If he would, I wonder if he would've hired an English actor to play him or perhaps adding a bit of TAN (just like they did with Moses' wife in The 10 Commandments) to his pink face.

Now, the actor who played Lincoln as Vampire Hunter PLAYED ALSO BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON in a musical and he looks like Liam Neeson who is Irish fellow.
I mentioned before Charlton Heston did Lincoln's voice in a film but ALSO PLAYED PRESIDENT ANDREW JACKSON...

And what did Jackson and Lincoln have in common?
They shared the same enemy: the banks!

Andrew Jackson, in his Veto Message, explains his reasons for refusing to renew the charter of the Second Bank of the United States; he further delves into more fundamental issues of understanding the U. S. Constitution. Jackson essentially agrees with Thomas Jefferson's position on constitutional interpretation and states that "the Congress, the Executive, and the Court must each for itself be guided by its own opinion of the Constitution."According to Jackson, every public officer swears an oath to support the Constitution, as he understands it, not as it is understood by others. This duty applies to Congress and the President when bills are brought before them for approval-and it applies to the courts when they decide on the cases brought before them. No branch's opinion should have binding authority over the decisions of the other branches in their respective spheres; rather, the opinions of other branches should have "only such influence as the force of their reasoning may deserve."

Furthermore, Jackson believes that "mere precedent is a dangerous source of authority," since various precedents might conflict-and precedent alone should not be a reason for deciding on the constitutionality of an act except in cases where "the acquiescence of the people and the States can be considered as well settled."

Abraham Lincoln, in his speech on the Dred Scott decision, does consider the judicial authority on Constitutional questions to be ultimate, when those questions are fully settled. Once the questions are settled, the judicial decisions "should control, not only the particular cases decided, but the general policy of the country," subject only to the amendment process.

For Lincoln, a judicial decision has the twofold purpose of determining absolutely the case decided and indicating to the public how similar cases will be decided when they arise-i.e., to create authoritative precedents. Some precedents are more authoritative than others, according to the circumstances under which they were formed. Lincoln gives several conditions which would make a judicial decision an authoritative precedent: unanimous concurrence of the judges, lack of any apparent partisan bias, accordance with legal public expectation or the steady practice of the departments throughout our history, lack of reliance on assumed historical facts which are not really true. Furthermore, if the decision has been wanting in any of the above, but has been before the court more than once and has been repeatedly reaffirmed over time, it can still be a binding precedent.

Andrew Jackson's father was claimed to be a "light-skinned slave." Another historian noted a source that said Jackson's brother was sold into slavery as a boy. For the account of Jackson's brother, the historian used a slave narrative of an Andrew Jackson born in Kentucky in 1814, failing to notice that President Andrew Jackson was born in 1767 in North Carolina. The full title of the work, first published in 1847, is Narrative and Writings of Andrew Jackson, of Kentucky; Containing an Account of His Birth, and Twenty-Six Years of His Life While a Slave; His Escape; Five Years of Freedom, Together with Anecdotes Relating to Slavery; Journal of One Year's Travels; Sketches, etc. Narrated by Himself; Written by a Friend, Syracuse: Daily and Weekly Star Office.

Re: APE Braham Lincoln film...
I mentioned in Lincoln Vampire Hunter the ax is the symbol admittedly used by the director.

The axe is one of the most prominent symbols of the 22nd Degree of the Scottish Rite (Knight Royal Axe, Prins of Libanus). Such axes were said to have been used to cut down cedars used in the building of King Solomon's Temple, The Ark of the Covenant, and even Noah's Ark. The initials on the axe are those of Solomon and Noah, whereas the initials on the handle are those of Libanus and Tsidun, Libanus referring to the area where the cedars were found (Lebanon), and Tsidun, the city whose people helped cut down the trees.

The initials on the one side of the blade are said to be those of Shem, Ham, Japheth (The three sons of Noah), Moses, Aholiab, and Bezaleel (who together led a large group of workers who worked in fine metals, rare wood, and precious stones).

Initials on the other side of the blade are those of Adoniram (civil servant responsible for acquiring laborers), Cyrus (original issuer of decree allowing the rebuilding of the Temple), Darius (who re-issued Cyrus's decree and provided for all costs from royal revenue to rebuild the Temple), Zerubbabel (credited with the Temple's reconstruction), Nehemiah (who rebuilt Jerusalem's walls) and Ezra (who collected contributions from the Babylonian Jews).

These initials, hence, all appear to represent the prominent people who, in their own ways, helped rebuild the Temple.

Of all the symbolic meaning of the axe, it is most often used as a symbol of creation. As axes were closely associated with thunder, it also naturally became associated with rain, another important giver of life. Axes were also an essential tool in spreading civilizations. This is the context in which the symbol is used in the 22nd Degree.

And did you see the symbol of TRIDENT as Zeus' thunder in Burton's Planet of the Apes? Perhaps you wanna take a better glance..
