I don't believe in god because you guys already have 4 billion morans that believe in him.

I like to stand out from the crowd.

Most people fail to see that science is the truest religion.

Sometimes when starting a great search, it is best to start off not even knowing what it is that you are looking for.

Basically, we have to start with either we were created, or not. If you don't believe we were created, then you probably adhere to the shit theory of evolution, or some other vague bullshit newage(sewage) crap. So basically, people want to believe that they arrived from nothing, or that they will be reincarnated by some vague force (wtf who controls that?) so that they don't have to be held accountable for their actions.
We are created beings, God gave us domain over the earth and all the animals, we didn't rise our way to the top by evolving, that's just silly...
There really isnt any excuse for not believing we were created. The lies that they exchanged for truth became all that they believed...

It makes me wonder about the chances of being born as a human being (from an atheist's standpoint). There are so many species of animals out there, so many germs, so many plants, and I got chosen as a human? What controls this selection??? Are other animals and germs conscious, or are they just an illusion to intelligent minds? (Sorry im kind of tipsy)

And gauging from what I have been reading on glp at least two out of the four actually think they are the messiah.

Dogs probably think the same thing as they chillax on your porch as you toil effortlessly to bring them food and water and pet them while they lick their nuts.

I tend to think that every sentient being feels human. Meaning wherever it is, it is in the middle, it is the normal. So being a fish would feel human, or being a spider would also feel like this is perfectly fine and normal.

And what about those who really searched for the truth themselves? Aren't you just believing what other adults tell you about science and what not?

Honestly When I look inside I am at complete peace being a non believer. I guess you have to move beyond stereotypes. I have a strong moral fiber without the need for rulebooks and faith etc.

No one has ever been able to tell me what to believe. It's all in the math for me.

A real parent would stop their child from rape and murder if they could stop it. God for some reason won't help children from rape and murder.

I also tend to see that we are all waves of an ocean, meaning the universe is an ocean and we are it's waves. Not that hard to grasp.

All this religious hang-ups and new age bullshit, and trying to explain the world through science, meaning language and symbols will take till the end of time because existence can't be a point of it's own object. No mater how much you will try to chase it, understand it, the more it will run away from you.

I actually understand where you are coming from. Belief wouldn't exist if people didn't find comfort in it.

But there are a few who don't need belief or god to have that comfort.
