leyba (OP) User ID: 4652475 United States 01/18/2013 08:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | seems like cops everywhere are fuckin' outa control! if they're not killing someone's small dog, hunting within the city limits, or doing body cavity searches on the side of a busy road, they're shooting off their guns for fun! "...because Marines kill every-thing-we-see!" |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 11391214 United States 01/18/2013 08:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I live in Denver and this story is big news here. two Boulder Police Officers shoot and kill an elk for trophy and fun! on new years day, two officers came up w/ a plan to kill this loving neighborhood friendly elk for it's meat and head mount! Quoting: leyba this elk had been living within the city of Boulder and neighborhood residents had adopted it as their "pet" because it was so calm and loving.... then in come these two ASSHOLES!!! ...and BAM! They shoot the fuckin' elk in the back of it's neck and kill it! The two officers lied to investigators saying that they came upon the elk injured and they decided to put it down to end its suffering! now it's time to put these two asshole, fuckin' pigs, "down" just like they did Big Boy--the elk's name given to him by local residents. [link to www.9news.com] Shooting the elk in what looks like a neighborhood is not to sporty. They don't look like they need the food either. |

leyba (OP) User ID: 4652475 United States 01/18/2013 08:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm actually surprised that the Boulder Police Department didn't find them "at fault" for any wrong doing! just like ALL other internal police investigations go... "nope, no wrong doing here. move along, please." how many times have we ready where the police department find no fault when one of their honorable, law abiding officers act ghetto with a gun? "...because Marines kill every-thing-we-see!" |

An elk is a dangerous creature, even if this one appeared friendly. Only a matter of time before some child tries to pet it and is violently killed from a natural outburst of a WILD ANIMAL. I am glad this elk is dead. The community there is safer. |

It's because of the paper work they would have to do in order to get the Elk relocated. |

Somehow I just hear Lucas telling Mark after mark says: Hey Pa, there's an elk out at the drinking troth getting some water, should I get the gun? Lucas replies, no son that wouldn't be sporting and we have plenty for the winter. Just some home/yard morals. It's easy to find something worth dying for. Do you have anything worth living for? |
