You've already payed for it with taxes, you might as well take advantage of it. You can be certain no Wall Street firm turns away anything the government offers on matter of principle...

Once you are at retirement age the govt tries to coherse you into purchasing Part B.....which you would continue to pay for till you die. Not to mention all the other pieces of medicare, but that is the basics. Thank you for the added info !  No problem :) Medicare is a personal hot spot for me, so many peopleare just ignorant about it, they dont care until its too late.... I used to teach Medicare for a few years, so i know a lot about it and how it really works, impacting the patient, the provider and the gov.
