I've lucid dreamed and woken up in sleep paralysis many many times since I was 14. I've felt and seen the black shadow person standing above me.

A few months ago I awoke when I felt someone set on the edge of the bed. I felt it there but was fully awake. After an hour of trying to sleep I dose off with the light on. I quickly woke back up as the blanket was tugged down to my knees. Then a white figure standing beside my bed started to scream louder and louder. It vanished as soon as I broke through the paralysis state. The next day I had a talk with whatever it was and it hasn't messed with me again.
