Wow. I just have a bad feeling people are being silenced in Sandy Hook. Told to be quiet or something.

I wonder, because here you have the school janitor who seems to actually be a real hero in all this -- getting teachers in classrooms and being in the hallway despite gunfire...really putting himself on the line in case others need his help. Whereas the media has made the "big hero" out to be Gene Rosen, who frankly, doesn't have enough sense to call the police either when he hears what he thinks is a hunter by the school or when children who witnessed a shooting arrive on his doorstep. Why the distraction away from the school?

Is it just me, or does this woman actually seem to portray real emotion? This must be the only genuine looking interview I've seen so far.

I agree. She seems genuine but she was also far from the shooting and not involved. I have no doubt that hundreds of people (students, custodians and teachers) were not involved and would have been legitimately frightened. This is the 1st one I've seen though (???).

Weren't the police supposed to have responded in 3 minutes at which point Adam killed himself?

At what point did CBS start texting people letting them know of the shooting? Why didn't they text this teacher?

She does seem honest, compared to the others. Twenty minutes is impossible, though. If he had so much ammo and twenty minutes he could have killed almost everyone in the school.

That is exactly how I felt. She is trying to keep it together for the interview, but the emotion spills over nonetheless...

For instance, in the Clackamas shooting (and this was a little sad)...the mall Santa was being interviewed and was really freaked out but quickly realized he had to get back into character (as "Santa Claus") -- realizing that kids could be watching the show and wanted to be reassuring as "Santa". That was real emotion because it was emotionally complex emotion and on the spot. No actor could pull it off.

There was a mastermind behind the events on Dec. 14th.

The 911 call actually came in at 9.30am, and has been stated officially at the CT police website.. (well one of them at least) apparently there were multiple 911 calls however Mike Powers team have been unable to find any records of more than one, which is strange as he says in his interview. With that many rounds firing for that long, you would think neighbours etc would of called... the recorded police scanner vid, didnt start recording till 9.35am.. that is the why the time difference.. This still puts the shooter/s entering the school well before the 9.30am locking of the doors..

And that also brings into question gene rosens statement that he heard "a couple of shots".. though he is already in question for a dozen other things, this woman says the firing was going on for 20 mins or more.. which is actually more believable to me than the 6 mins the media and official statements are trying to sell us.. so he only hears a few shots, yet still doesnt think to call 911, nor when he finds the kids, thinks to take them next door where all the sirens and ambulances and police are blocking up his driveway and street?... this guy is so bogus is scary

I also agree that this is the first person ive seen with real emotion..

We still however have not found nor heard of the two boys reportedly seen running from the school with blood, who were seen by one of the neighbours. Ive also heard that some children were taken to the police station and picked up..

sounds contrived. what, everybody have family that were first responders. somethings not right although the story sounds better than what we have been told through all this

She also said someone "tried the door." Wonder who that was...

Does 911 normally put callers "on hold"? I've never ever heard of that before. Why didn't anyone pull the fire alarm...just to get the neighbourhood, fire station, etc. to realize that something was wrong at the school.


Also odd the janitor has never been heard from. MSM usually LOVES hailing the heroes in stories like this. I also don't buy that he would have made sure all of the doors were locked and then just stand in the hallway???? He would have made sure the doors were locked, and then gone into the last classroom he checked. I have to call BS on this janitor aspect of the story.

How could those inside the school be 'locked' in??? That would be a fire hazard and dangerous.

in the video this woman says after a teacher opened their door, all the police stood there looking at them. now i ask you, is that what cops would do in an emergency shooting situation. listen to this bs.

no teachers mentioned by name, a cop jiggles the door, door is opened by teacher and cops just look at them all. no follow us this way, remain calm, stay in line, hurry, we have to get out.

In this situation I believe it would seem like forever to anyone hiding in a classroom and fearing for her life. One minute becomes and hour when you are that frightened.

She appeared to have real emotions. Has it occurred to anyone that some of what happened was real and people did die? With that came a manipulation of the facts in order to corner the issue regarding gun control.

I do have a question and let's see if anyone can answer it...

If the alleged AR (or long rifle) was registered to Adam Lanza's mom, and Connecticut had the most stringent gun laws in place, how was it she was able to have possession of these guns?

What if he thought it was just a drill and ignored it. One kid in an interview says they were doing a drill.

I was in a office building fire once, and I actually had to really convince my officemates to leave because we were too used to false alarms.

A shooting drill? Are they not told of these in advance? No alarm was going off so what would make him think it was a drill? Do they normally have gunshots, crying and screaming over the intercoms during drills? I have no idea because I've never witnessed one, and we don't have those kinds of drills here...as far as I know. I've done lockdown drills, but they've never involved any of that.

If the janitor locked the door from the outside how did the teacher open it. We need more facts but sounds like another hole to work with.

exactly. she also said the custodian was outside the door and they were yelling at him as he identified himself.

So he locked them in, a teacher from inside unlocked the door who we are told had no key cause the custodian had the only key, someone jiggled the door but had no key to unlock it and the woman shook her head no to her trainer or supervisor not to open the door.

I thought Rosen said "staccato gunfire" and "bam bam bam bam". A couple of shots could be consistent with hunters (not at a SCHOOL, but generally). What he describes isn't really like that. But, personally, I don't think he heard gunfire. I think he didn't know anything was happening until he located the kids in his driveway. I think he elaborated later. But, like I really know wtf he's thinking.

As for the janitor, what I read is he was trying the doors to be sure they were locked. I just figured he didn't want to be interviewed initially so the media latched onto Uncle Gene. But, IDK about that either.

Supposedly all the teachers except one had keys to their own classrooms.
