Kind of amazing that Africans still can't construct a water well. Hmmmm? Can anyone explain the reason to me, seriously, why?

Yup. Quite awesome. Not the first find that leads us to believe the Germans were much more advanced than once previously thought...

Just don't tell Hitler... he would have creamed his pants over a find like this.

Could it be because their are no shallow wells in Africa?
We still have wells in East Texas that were dig by hand only 20-50 feet deep, I talked to a man who use to dig them he he said it was dangerous because of the gas. They are made with wood

Wait till you read about the 1994 finds in Schoningen - 300,000 year old wooden spears used by H. Erectus, in the context of a horse hunt. Yes, they were preserved.

Perhaps. Maybe, but I see them drawing water out of shallow wells that the charities have dug for them, so who knows.

And 151 oak timbers preserved from that time. Wonder how all that wood managed to not rot or be destroyed by the weather, people or animals for 7000 years.

Maybe Africans didn't need wells. Dunno. Anyway, Africans are the people who know how to smelt iron without blast furnace. Recent demonstration of made-by-hand was just 3-4 years ago. Can you make iron in your backyard without any modern equipment?
