The genius is at work. Obummer and company have successfully implemented a nationwide gun ban by proxy. This is his finest moment in America.
The news has the US divided solely on GUNS. They tried race and that didn’t work. They tried “Global Warming” and that didn’t work. So now the “Gun Ban” is working perfectly!!!!!!!!!
The nation is becoming divided and possibly headed to a near violent eruption because of the fact that our guns hypothetically could be pulled away from us. With the exception of the usual liberal states the rest of the nation is pretty cool right now with the fact that they will resist any new gun laws. So all the guns considered defensive “assault” type have been removed from circulation by private “investor” etc purchase. All ammo pretty much gone with a few exceptions. Magazines gone. Reloading supplies gone.
OK sure it is available at a black market price like 2x or 3x the original cost..

So there you have it. An assault weapons ban completely in place for a while, until they really feel like pulling a “Man Made” or “Government Staged” event and martial law.
