I would tend to agree, AC. But, one commenter says that it actually discharged when the cop that was checking the weapon zip tied the trigger down with a live round in the chamber.

But, who leaves a gun loaded in a case like that? I admit, I leave a lot of loaded guns around but when they're in a case, unless I'm expectin trouble, its unloaded.

Accidents like this are common and happen all the time, what pisses me off is how the main stream media is shoving this up peoples throat, just gathering that gun propaganda, so far I have not seen any new media covering the protest which took place on this day.

I used to go to an avocado festival that was all families. Kids and old folks in a two block area and at least 30 cops, with attitude, ready to bust you for just the way you look. Then I go to custom motorcycle shows with hundreds of guys with muscles, tattoos, dreadlocks, etc, and only TWO cops, having fun smiling and laughing with everyone. Never a problem. Same thing.

I have never heard of a shooting at a gun show before today, anyone else?
The result of the incidents in at least one of the shows was a ban of non dealers bringing guns to gun shows indefinitely.
Seems this is meant to make firearms more traceable. And to force sellers to only be able to sell to dealers who will not pay market value of any weapon.
