We keep our place spotless but they sometimes manage to crawl in from my dirty ass neighbors. They never take out their trash. The maintenance man here told me some horrific stories about roach infestations from the black residents I know all about it, my Dad has had rental houses since I was a kid, and the rule was not to rent to blacks or Mexicans because of multiple problems with not just bugs, but crime, drugs, etc... He tried to filter out the mentally ill too... I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked.  |

Quoting: Mad Pole Anyone have suggestions? Hi Mad Pole, Several things you can do, but don't do any spraying. They'll only stay away until the smell is gone. 1. Mix equal parts of sugar and baking soda together. Sprinkle it on small pieces of foil, and the roaches will crawl over it. The soda and sugar will cling to their bodies, they'll go back to the hive; the other roaches will lick it off, look for water, drink and explode. 2. Boric acid powder. Be careful with this around children and pets. Sprinkle the boric acid on small pieces of foil, lay the foil on counters and in cabinets. The roaches will crawl across it, go back to the nest, lick it off and die. 3. Combat bait discs for small roaches. 5 per room. Change them once a month and toss the old ones OUTSIDE in the trash can. The baits contain an ingredient that attracts the male. He'll go in the disc, pick up the poison and return to the nest and die. Just be sure it's Combat bait. Dump the trash, don't leave pet food in dishes, clean up the kitchen, and don't leave soda or beer cans sitting around. Good luck. |

Just make sure to cover all dishes take them out of cupboards and open all the cupboard doors while bombing....worked for us we moved in a trailer that turned out to have them when we did this we never had to deal with them again.... |

U use a jar with peanut butter or something they like at the bottom and then coating the top rim with olive oil or something like that and what happens is they go for the bait and then Fall in and can't get out. Giving them no food source and no place to hide is the quickest way to get rid of them. Put roach motels around the house and step on them as you see them. Make sure you wipe up the mess after stepping on them as they may have eggs inside their bodies. Lure them into the sink and then wash them down the drain. We had to do this in an apartment we used to rent and they were gone in 3 weeks. Trust me it works. Stay away from those sprays as they may do you more harm than they do to the roaches. |
