Each sperm either carries a Y or an X chromosome. So the minute the baby is conceived it is either a boy or a girl (boys are XY, girls are XX). Just because it doesn't have any external genitals for a while doesn't mean anything. The gender is present from the beginning and determined by the chromosomes. |

It was the alien groups, upon discovering this planet who seperated them into male or female, and instilled a dna command structure to get them together for breeding... Over time, the artificial dna command structure has weakened, and we now see the rise of gay, lesbian and bi-sexual culture... Reverting to their natural state... |

There are very few true hermaphrodites among people; many more people are "intersexuals", with ambiguous genitalia that may be misinterpreted. (It's not easy for a doctor to say "I don't know" to "Is it a boy or a girl?") |
