Anyone else dreaming more vividly in the last week?
Lately for the past week i wake up almost everyday remembering my dream. I will add that i use marijuana before sleeping normally to help me sleep better and dream less because i hate nightmares and waking up sweating. Normally i wake up not remembering any dreams and i feel rested. But lately in the last week i have been waking up remebering dreams even though i still smoke it. Anybidy else seen an increase in dreams?

Yes, though I've been taking sleeping pills for the last week, which make me dream vividly. Wasnt dreaming anywhere near as vividly a lot of times without them and I also couldn't sleep. Sleeping pills rock.

Nope. Do you know the cause of bad dreams? Dreams are awesome why would you not want them :)

That's so true! When I don't smoke, my dreams are incredibly vivid.

But usually vivid nightmares.

But also, I've BEEN smoking before bed this week and I TOO have been having vivid nightmares and wake up in a sweat.

Perhaps there is a change in gravitational pulls across N. America.

Or, our tolerance is increasing.

For the past two to three weeks my dreams have been incredibly vivid. No pot smoking or sleeping aids though. I'm assuming it's just a weird thing.

Yes, and normally, I don't remember my dreams at all.

Towards the end of the week I had two, both of which I can still remember. Very rare for me.

I don't use any type of drugs.

Re: Anyone else dreaming more vividly in the last week?
I can't say it was more vivid, but I had a "repeat" dream last night, in that it was a follow-up to a dream I had had before, months ago. It's especially odd because it featured a person from my public school days that I haven't really seen since grade 8 or so, and it did last time too.

I don't remember the details all that well, other than we were waiting for this guy to show up from something he had agreed to do in the previous dream (maybe? that was what the other folks in the dream seemed to thing.)

It was odd though, upon waking, I knew I had dreamed that same location and group of, if not 'people,' - expectations?

Hey op, what a fuc*ing coincidence.

I was just on dream moods dictionary website trying to interpret my vivid dreams I've been having the past week as well. The coincidental part of this, I too know that you dream less when smoking pot (which I do quite often) but I have been having really vivid dreams and especially remember them, which Is again weird. I was also wondering of anyone else was feeling the same, but didn't feel it enough to ask. On a personal level, without a doubt I have been experiencing this.

They're usually about me somewhere in/on mountains particularly in Colorado, but I live in south Texas and only have visited CO before. That state holds another home for me.
Last night for example, I was rafting some shallow rapids trying to get to a tree on top of the mountain.. I kept looking at it. Felt happy about it too.

Glad to know I'm not alone in this.

Generally, all my dreams, especially recently, have been in places where I have been in real life, only more altered versions. I dream a lot about driving too, Im always on the go in my dreams like I'm searching for something, but I feel found.

I had a dream the other night I was driving down a highway, U-turned, exited and while on the off ramp (it was curved) I hit a crack and lost traction and crashed. It was so vivid as I physically felt myself lifted and slammed to the side of the car and then I flipped and probably when I was at the highest point of the flip I looked down at the ground (straight down) through my open window and woke up.

I never remember my dreams this one was so vivid I still remember it. Since then I've had dreams where I watch my dead grandma fly into the asmosphere in a spaceship.

Yes, but just in the last two nights. The themes and places were very different from my regular dream themes.

Re: Anyone else dreaming more vividly in the last week?
Last night was the most disturbing one I have had in a while.

The earth jumped violently. Loudest noise I have ever heard then nothing....my soul had left my body. I had a death or near death experience in my dream! When my soul left my body I was in a place so vast it was incomprehensible....but I didn't know where to go....I felt lost. Then I woke up....but I tried to go back to sleep quickly and search the expanse some more. I was very curious what I could find.

I often wake up from dreams that I was thoroughly enjoying and find myself trying to go back to sleep to continue the dream, usually to no avail. Sometimes I can pick it right back up though

Dont smoke anymore, and miss it sometimes, but the dreams for several months have been getting more and more vivid.

Most of my dreams are about flying, running away from tornados, Red Dawn type stuff or really wierd dreams about my house.
I'm tired of waiting, somebody push the damn button already!

Keep your 72 virgins, give me one old biker chick.

Re: Anyone else dreaming more vividly in the last week?
I did more dreaming in the last week than I did all last year.......about 30 seconds......saw myself in a mirror or I was just looking at myself and I said well this is it, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit? I was not scared nor excited just matter of fact like. The only thing odd was I did not move my lips just talked to myself in my mind or head? I guess it will be another year or so for another dream.

Re: Anyone else dreaming more vividly in the last week?
If I think hard enough about the places I was in during my dreams, I can get that feeling in my stomach like I am there again. It's a distinct feeling of being an individual. I don't know how else to describe that feeling, but it makes me realize that I am more than alive.

Very rarely am I at a new place in my dreams, mostly places I have been before. Such as, a giant elevator flying through space, I don't know where it's going I am just there. =]
