After almost 15 years here, I am certain all GLP's, well almost all are "breathers"....that's right we are all breathers.......in and out....in and out and so on......24/7/365. The bots don't breath.

Where do I start?

Well, I'm old-fashioned. I'm from the 90s. All these new gadgets and hot bands I know nothing about. Give me old school stuff. I'm like an old man when it comes to an iPhone, NO IDEA how to use one (then again, I hate Apple products).

One thing that I think separates me is that I'm not an amalgamation of bands, movies or shows I like, or activities or hobbies I'm "into" -- I know a lot of people relate on that level, but I'm not interested in that; I'm interested in your mind, your soul, the inner dialogue that makes you "you". (All of this exterior pop culture accouterments, if you will, is really quite trivial to me and carries very little meaning; I've noticed a trend in that people very much connect on this level, of associating themselves with media as to way of identifying themselves. I'm interested in the people who stand apart, as individuals, and have an individual and unique voice, separate from product and culture).

I'm all about simple, clean living, sustainability and being health-conscious and socially aware and informed. I think as a human being it's important to be thoughtful, introspective, curious, always seeking answers and understanding; unfortunately, these aren't often qualities many in society prioritize.

I'm a very laid-back person, and definitely not high strung or a workaholic (people who are obsessed with their careers and the trappings of modern living are products of the American system, and frankly, I think they're deluded, deceived and disconnected; I'd be happy in a place like the Kingdom of Bhutan, where matters of family and the spiritual are held in much higher regard than here).

I haven't found a place other than this one that seems to have as many people who THINK like me.

They have access to the Internet :-p but BEYOND THAT... You all know more about the world than an estimated 90 percent of the people you interact with, or in some cases reluctantly share oxygen with.
