Final Episodes of FRINGE
It's been one of my favourite shows for the past few years.

The final two episodes aired the other day, after 5 seasons.
Awesome concepts, ideas and storylines.

I loved them, and was happy at where the writers ended it.

Mind you I blubbered like a baby in the last one.

No spioilers, in case you havent watched them.

If you were a fan, did you like the ending?

If not, where would you have liked it to go?

I knew it would end with the theme of redemption.

I turned it off half way through the show and forgot to go back and watch the rest.

It turned into some sort of time traveler soap opera early on in the series.

Re: Final Episodes of FRINGE
Fringe was more confusing than Lost. Who was that little boy? Why would time reset if Walter and the little boy go through a wormhole? Were would they end up? Why does that cause Olivia and Peter to enter a timeline with their little girl? Do they forget everything?

I miss the days when sci-fi was more clear and made sense.

I would explain it but it would mean spoilers for others...
It makes perfect sense.

Fringe isn't confusing at all. Just pay attetion when you watch an episode and small things will reappear in later episodes.

Agreed, the finale really did reward the viewer who had followed the complete series.

The tulip confused me... Peter had a look of realization once he saw it.

Why was the Tulip relevant?

Exactly and fringe isn't the type of show to do touchy feely happy endings so I'm guessing they made it open for another series down the line or a movie fingers crossed.

I was left satisfied with the ending. It was my favorite show these last few years. The writing was great throughout.

That's what I thought as well...

It's like the tulip was some sort or "memory marker" that Walter used to reawaken his memory. It's sort of like when the timeline tried to erase Peter and nobody could remember who he was except for Olivia.

Yes it did, didn't it!

I was a little aprehensive after the LOST let down, but this was, well, beautiful.

With all set right, and Olive aware of the change (the boy said shhhhhh) - and Peter remembering upon seeing the tulip, I wonder if an angry 'belly' might come back, with prosthetic hand and all, for some revenge in the movie they are sure to make....

You could put spoiler at the top of your page and then scroll way down to answer. Many people do this. Then for people who don't want to read it they can scroll down fast to the next poster.

Oooohh you are very clever!!

I loved that scene, where Walter stops, looks at the floating observer, then grins back at Peter.

Rumours that a movie might be in the making....

They did it with BSG, and I must say I loved every second of Blood and Chrome.
