This is bunk. Stonehenge is at 50 degrees noth and some of the Scottish ones are nearly at 60 degrees noth, that's two thirds fo the way to the Artcic.

You do realize that the continents have moved A LOT over the years, right? they could have been near the equator at one time.... plus the Earths poles have shifted MANY times and the equator shifts with it as well....
