One of the basic principles of Ancient Alien Theory is that old folktales could actually be true eyewitness accounts misunderstood.
Consider these legends...
THE MOAI STONES - These flew into place, drifting over the landscape.
STONEHENGE - Merlin flew the stones in from Wales...and, indeed, the stones do seem to match the geology of Wales, even though they are hundreds of miles away.
...So, they didn't have helicopters, they didn't have jumpjet and they didn't have fixed wing cargo planes, so what's left? Answer Zeppelins.
